After arriving at a huge castle which stood out from every other building in the whole city because it and the church were the only medieval buildings in the whole city, which was a huge cybernetic futuristic city Lingxi couldn't believe something like this actually existed in this world since he had never seen one in his past life even though he remembers exploring the whole world,
or as much as he possibly could, the butler noticing his shocked expression quickly explained "This kingdom,like many others is a gift from the gods awakened after the defeat of the 'KING OF DEATH' all five kingdoms in this region come from them".
This comes as a shock to Lingxi because he never thought his death could awaken any entity
the butler deepened his understanding of what happened on their walk to the servants quarters where he will be staying
"Of course after more study and analyzing they discovered that the area where he was killed was above an alter with runes on it and depicting the runes although said that 'beneath here lies the tomb of the forgotten gods cast down due to great injuries in the war of gods only the blood of someone strong enough to be a demi-god is worthy of unsealing them from their slumber of recovery' and so the death of humanities greatest threat gave birth to a new era"
"Is this the only area with new cities" Lingxi asked desperate for more information "No not at all they are many more scattered around the earth for humans to inhabit, but of course not everybody is aware of how these cities came to be"
They had finally arrived at their destination the servants quarters where he will be staying "And by the way we will need your name to fill the job contract" Lingxi thought of giving his reall name but also wanted to cut all ties to that family so he intertained the idea but then a taught struck him so he said
"I once was Lingxi from the Xang family in the eastern city but now i am Luther and servant of this family" the butler seemed taken aback by this introduction but then he smiled and said "Welcome Luther to the Royal Pendragon house of the central city" and quietly left adding "A tailor will be sent by with your clothes and a name badge displaying your post in the house"
Luther was surprised by the fact that he was in the royal family and walked into the quarters where a guard guided hm to his apartment Luther entered still dazed and unable to snap out of his trance but then fatigue kicked in and he quietly lay on the couch and drifted to sleep he completely dozed off and slept till the next day
