Chapter 241 - Chapter 241: A Sneak Attack

Lothar's death caused the Alliance's morale to plummet instantly. Orgrim, as the victor, roared, and the Horde soldiers around him became fired up with excitement.

At the critical moment, Arthas charged over from a distance, picked up Lothar's broken sword, and cut down the severely wounded Orgrim. "You do not belong in this world! Nor are you accepted by the Holy Light! Die! You will pay for the crimes you have committed against this world and her people!"

After felling Orgrim, Arthas stepped on his head, grinding it forcefully, and shouted to the surrounding Alliance soldiers, "Soldiers of the Alliance! In this dark hour, we must remain clear-headed. We must be like Commander Lothar, standing tall, never flinching, and fighting bravely onward!

Lothar not only saw you as soldiers, but also as friends and family! Sir Lothar had no children. In other words, all of you here are the inheritors of Sir Lothar's spirit! For this, we must fulfill Lothar's wish, defeat the Orcs, and bring peace back to our world! For Lothar! For the Alliance! For Azeroth! Kill!"

Arthas's fury ignited all the Alliance soldiers, pulling them out of the panic that followed their commander's death and turning their anger into motivation!

The Horde was once again suppressed. They couldn't understand why the dispirited Alliance soldiers had suddenly become so full of fighting spirit! Coupled with Orgrim's fall, the Horde soldiers lost their will to fight in an instant!

Those who surrendered, surrendered. Those who died in battle, died in battle. A small portion fled in panic, attempting to return to Draenor to eke out a miserable existence!

"Turalyon, Uther, I'll leave this to you. You were Lothar's lieutenants; shoulder this heavy responsibility!" Arthas handed command back to the two lieutenants. He felt no apology towards Turalyon for stealing his wife; it made him very happy. As for Uther, it was unrealistic to expect him to be a good teacher, but as a subordinate or a general, he was definitely a very responsible person.

The surrounding soldiers were still hunting down the routed Horde troops. At this point, the Horde's defeat was irreversible, especially with their Warchief being trampled under Arthas's foot. They had no chance of a comeback.

"You are despicable!" Orgrim wasn't dead yet. The Orcs' constitution gave them greater resilience.

"The winner is king, the loser is the bandit. Do you think it matters? Before this, I already killed Grom Hellscream." Arthas, who had been stepping on Orgrim's head, lifted his foot and looked down at the Orc Warchief. "You have failed, invader. You will repent and pay the price for the crimes you have committed."

A ray of Holy Light descended as Arthas partially healed Orgrim's wounds.

"What are you trying to do, humiliate me?" Orgrim could no longer stand and could only lie on the ground. Seeing his enemy actually heal him left him completely bewildered.

Ignoring Orgrim's venomous glare, Arthas looked at the distant Dark Portal. The wind whipped his cape behind him, making it flutter loudly, giving him the air of an invincible general on the battlefield.

"Do you know why Draenor became lifeless?" Arthas didn't answer Orgrim's question, but asked another one instead.

After a long moment, Orgrim opened his eyes, not knowing what the other was planning. "I don't know."

"You do know," Arthas sneered. "I originally thought you were a smart man, but in the end, you're still a coward. Lothar's sword was a Great Royal Sword, a weapon that only those with a firm will can wield.

Do you really not know that the demons orchestrated all of this? Fel Energy only destroys everything. Your home was infused with Fel Energy, which corrupted the planet and rendered it lifeless."

Orgrim fell silent. He had indeed had his suspicions but dared not admit them. If the title of invader was confirmed, they would have no legitimacy.

"The Burning Legion's purpose is to destroy all planets and life. I don't care what their reasons are. My home will not allow their invasion. They failed once ten thousand years ago, and now they're making a comeback.

And you are their pawns. Pathetic Warchief, do you now understand why Gul'dan opened the Dark Portal, why his teacher Ner'zhul was so melancholic? Heh, in truth, they're all just birds of a feather." Arthas laughed wildly, his words chilling to the bone.

"What proof do you have!" Orgrim retorted, refusing to back down in spirit!

The battle continued in the distance. The Orcs who resisted to the end were being jointly annihilated. Gnomish Gyrocopters provided support from the sky, and magic flashed continuously.

Arthas could even see the heroic figure of his wife, Alleria, commanding the Ranger Corps, drawing her bow and loosing Magic Arrows to reap the lives of the Orc dogs.

"There's no point in you asking that," Arthas said, turning to look at Orgrim.

"You will be judged, and you will need to repent for the crimes you have committed. I will not exterminate the Horde. As you've seen, many clans have already submitted to me. They will pay with their lives to turn over a new leaf. Only when they can offer their lives for this world will there be a place for them here."

"You want me to surrender?" Orgrim stared intently at Arthas, feeling a sense of humiliation. He was supposed to surrender to a human brat who hadn't even grown all his hair? It was simply laughable, utterly ridiculous!

"You can choose to be a coward and hide in a prison, find a crack to crawl into, and evade the mistakes you've made." Arthas was only trying to recruit him. Success would naturally be a good thing, as it would allow him to recruit more surrendering Orcs. These were top-quality cannon fodder, and with the Orcs' decent birth rate, they were the best choice for slaves.

"I will not agree!" Orgrim snorted and closed his eyes. He could not accept surrendering to Arthas; it was a disgrace.

"Suit yourself. Because of this choice of yours, every Orc death from now on will be your fault. They will need to fight against all sorts of threats to this world, including powerful enemies. A talented but cowardly Warchief who evades command will cause their deaths. Every soul that dies will resent you, curse you!" Arthas continued to provoke him.
