Chapter 164 - Chapter 78 – The Shadow Forge Uprising and Celestial Weapon Showdown

Sunlight bathed the citadel's courtyard, glinting off polished celestial swords and spears. Wei Chen stood atop the central tower, golden eyes scanning the horizon where smoke curled like venomous snakes. "Scouts report shadow forge activity," he growled, gripping his newly forged Celestial Dragon-Slayer Spear. "Dragon clans rebuilt using forbidden tech. They're testing our defenses."

Lin Xue leaned against him, frost-kissed breath fogging his chest. "Husband… those shadow weapons look familiar. Like… the Void Dragon God's arsenal."

Su Mei chuckled, crimson chains snaking around a pillar. "Demon queen smells blood—and treasure. Let's plunder their forge!"

Before she could lunge, horns blared. From the eastern gates, shadow dragons erupted—scaled black as tar, eyes glowing violet, wings dripping shadow acid. Leading them: Shadow Dragon Lord Vyr, a serpentine figure wreathed in darkness, twin shadow spears crackling.

"Fools!" Vyr hissed, voice like scraping bone. "You thought defeating the Void God ended this? Our shadow forge creates weapons that pierce even your celestial trash!"

The Pride charged. Yu pounced, primal rage unleashed—bronze claws raking shadow scales, teeth sinking into a dragon's neck. "Primal tiger claims dinner!"

Lei Xin zapped another, thunder storms electrocuting scales. "Thunder claims its due!"

But Vyr laughed, shadow spears spinning. "Celestial toys break easy!" He hurled a shadow javelin—darkness condensed into a blade that sliced through Astra's star barrier.

Wei Chen teleported, spear flashing. "Nine-Suns Overload—Celestial Variant!" Golden light engulfed him, spear thrusting like a falling star. Vyr blocked, shadow spears clashing with sun-fire. "Impressive… but not enough!"

The battle raged—dragons vs. pride, shadow acid vs. celestial light. Wei Chen tossed Shadow-Acid Purge Pills. Queens drank them, attacks seeping through armored hides. "Pride! Unleash celestial weapons!"

Astra raised her staff, starlight erupting. "Starry Heaven's Fury!" Meteors rained, vaporizing shadow dragons. Umbra summoned eclipse shadows, swallowing beasts whole. Shang Mien folded space, trapping hundreds in void prisons. "Husband… I sense… the forge's core!"

Vyr snarled, shadow spears lashing. "Die, mortal!" He pinned Shang Mien, tendrils wrapping her void body. "Your space folds won't save you here!"

Wei Chen roared, spear glowing brighter. "Touch her, and I'll turn you to stardust!" He teleported behind Vyr, thrusting deep. Vyr shrieked, form destabilizing. "You… you dare!"

"Celestial-Dragon Annihilator!" Nineteen colors exploded—sunlight, moonbeams, starfire merging into one beam. Vyr's shadow form dissolved, ashes drifting like dying nightmares.

Silence fell. The citadel stood, battered but intact. Wei Chen caught Shang Mien, void folds trembling. "Are you hurt?"

She nuzzled his neck, silver eyes glimmering. "Just… shaken. Thank you, husband."

Su Mei chuckled, chains coiling. "Demon queen needs… celebration. Now."

He laughed, sweeping her into his arms. "Later, demon queen. First… let's tend to our wounded."

As healers rushed forth, scouts reported: "Dragon clans retreating—shadow forge intact. New threats emerging… from higher realms."

Wei Chen gazed at the horizon, golden eyes hard. "Then we prepare. The war has only begun."

Fluffy moments bloomed—Yu nuzzling his shoulder, Lei Xin curling beside him, Astra and Umbra sharing a blanket of star and shadow. Shang Mien folded a pillow fort, giggling. "Husband… we survived again."

He squeezed her, void folds shimmering. "Because you're all here—with me."

Night fell, citadel lights glowing. Wei Chen sat on the balcony, queens surrounding him. "Tomorrow, we raid the shadow forge. Tonight…" He smirked. "We celebrate."

One by one, they took turns in his arms—each queen claiming her reward, yang pouring into their cores, breakthroughs sparking like fireworks. By dawn, nineteen satisfied queens slept in a tangled pile, Wei Chen's heart full.

But as he drifted off, a whisper echoed in his mind: The shadow forge… not destroyed. Just… waiting.
