Sang Luo threw her arms around Minos, burying her face in the crook of his neck. She took a deep breath of the rich floral scent, warmed by the sun, and sighed, "You're still the best!"
Minos, caught off guard by her rare, enthusiastic display of affection, blushed shyly. He glanced at Little Rose and Little Apple. The two children winked at him, their faces practically screaming, "We get it!" Then, they flapped their little wings and quickly flew out of sight, leaving their father and mother some sweet time alone.
Minos looked away from the children and back at her, his handsome face breaking into an even more captivating smile. He wrapped his arms around her waist and gently patted her back. "What's wrong? Did something happen?"
"Sigh! My heart's a little broken~"
Sang Luo tilted her face up, looking for comfort.
