Yan harvested a batch of mature herbs, clearing out a large patch of the garden. He considered digging a small pit in the empty space to plant a cutting of the Parasol Divine Wood he had specially brought back from the Divine Realm. After fetching some Divine River Water to nourish it, he wondered if it could even grow in the Lower World.
Little Jin and Little Song were very fond of the Parasol Divine Wood. Qingqiu was a spiritually blessed land. 'If I can get it to grow here,' Yan thought, 'I could try transplanting it back to the Phoenix Palace. Those two little ones would be overjoyed.'
"Dad, I'll help you dig the pit!" Nuonuo eagerly came over to help. He stuck his little bottom in the air, his two front paws digging furiously at the ground. Soon, he had excavated a deep, large pit, his paws completely caked with red mud.
Very pleased with the hole he had dug, he dove in with a WHOOSH! and rolled around and around in the dirt.
