After lunch, once the dishes were cleaned up, Yuna went next door to open the bar for business.
Ron, however, stopped Nora before letting her open the flower shop and led her to the door of the storage room.
"Boss, what is it?" Nora asked curiously.
If it was for some sweet private time… going into the storage room seemed a bit strange…
Of course, Ron had no idea what Nora was thinking. He simply opened the system panel and spent 50,000 wealth points to exchange for a secondary spatial transmission permission for Nora.
The next moment, a silver-white point of light appeared out of thin air, startling Nora.
"Don't be nervous. Relax." Ron placed his hand on Nora's shoulder.
Nora quickly calmed down. She watched as the silver-white light floated before her, then slowly landed on the back of her hand, turning into a grain-sized mark before disappearing.
At that moment, Nora suddenly felt that if she pushed open the storage room door, she could travel to a very distant place.
"Follow your instincts and try it," Ron encouraged from the side. "I'll be right here."
Nora was still a little timid at first, but she gathered her courage and slowly pushed open the storage room door.
Then she vanished from Ron's sight.
Ron immediately followed into the dimensional plane to check on her situation.
Inside the dimensional plane, Nora's body was floating there, her eyes blank as if she couldn't see anything.
After only a few seconds, she disappeared again.
Ron quickly exited the dimensional plane and chose the flower shop storage room on Monlis Street in the Royal Capital.
[Upgrade Task] — [Exchange for a Secondary Spatial Transmission Permission]
[System: "Congratulations, Host. Task completed. Rewards have been issued."]
Several more system notifications popped up afterward, but Ron didn't check them immediately because he was worried about Nora.
He soon saw Nora standing dumbfounded at the entrance of the storage room in the Monlis Street shop.
"B-Boss…" When Nora saw Ron appear, she instinctively moved closer to him, still unable to recover from the magical experience.
"Don't worry. This is the Royal Capital." Ron patted her back and took her hand, leading her around the shop. "What do you think? You said you liked quieter shops, so I chose this one."
Nora was still a little dazed and simply followed Ron from the first floor all the way to the fourth floor.
When she stepped onto the balcony on the fourth floor and looked out, rows of buildings spread before her eyes.
The scenery was completely different from the City of Chaos, and she finally realized—
She had truly arrived in the Royal Capital.
And it had only taken a few seconds.
At that moment, snow began falling again in the Royal Capital.
Snowflakes drifted through the air, settling on rooftops and covering every building with a silver-white coat.
Nora widened her eyes as she gazed at the beautiful scene.
The pure white snowflakes floated down like goose feathers, drifting onto the balcony and landing softly in her palm.
She lowered her head and watched them slowly melt, feeling the chill on her skin, realizing that none of this was an illusion.
Then she turned her hand over and looked at the tiny silver-white mark on the back of it.
"Boss, what exactly is this?" she asked curiously.
Ron smiled and shrugged.
"It's a blessing from the goddess."
"As long as you want, you can now use the storage rooms on both sides to teleport anytime. Pretty convenient, right?"
Nora's face turned rosy as she nodded repeatedly.
"The goddess is amazing!"
Ron barely managed to suppress his laughter, silently apologizing in his heart and hoping the Goddess of Harvest — Hervesta would forgive his little lie.
"Did you feel anything during the teleportation? Any discomfort?" Ron asked casually.
"Not really…" Nora shook her head. "After pushing the door open, it was just whoosh—and I walked out of the storage room here."
It seemed Nora hadn't remained conscious inside the dimensional space.
That reassured Ron. It meant the breeding space inside the dimensional plane wouldn't be exposed.
"As long as there's no problem." Ron stretched lazily and pulled Nora back inside the shop. "I'll also recruit a few employees here in the Royal Capital. They'll all be under your management, so be prepared."
"…Okay. I understand. I'll work hard," Nora said, nodding vigorously with a serious expression.
"Then I'll leave it to you." Ron led Nora back to the storage room door. "Go back first and write two recruitment notices—one for the City of Chaos and one for the Royal Capital. I still have something to do here and will return tonight."
"Mhm!"
Nora waved goodbye to Ron before pushing open the door and returning to the flower shop in the City of Chaos.
Only then did Ron finally have time to check the remaining system notifications.
[System: "System level has increased. A new function—Skin Fragments—has been unlocked. The Host may delete unused interface skins to randomly obtain 1–5 skin fragments. Every 20 skin fragments can be exchanged for one random skin draw."]
Ron let out a cold laugh and ignored the message entirely before continuing.
[System: "Since the flower shop has entered a stable stage, related tasks will no longer be issued. The main quest will now change."]
[System: "Please choose one of the following side quests to become the next main quest."]
Two options appeared at the bottom of the panel.
[Side Quest] — [Guide the Hotpot and Barbecue Restaurant to Become Popular Throughout the Human Empire]
[Side Quest] — [Sell Element Cards]
Ron raised an eyebrow and rubbed his chin thoughtfully.
He hadn't expected the storyline related to the flower shop to end just like that.
That meant one less source of new plants…
A bit of a pity.
However, the system had already opened the "free choice of plants for sale" function earlier, which hinted at this change.
Previously, the system only required him to sell plants rewarded by main quests.
But now, as long as the plants were provided by the system, he could freely decide whether to sell them in the flower shop.
So it was no longer limited to main quest rewards.
As for which side quest to choose…
Naturally, he would pick the easier one.
The hotpot restaurant task for Mia had already completed its first stage earlier. The current one was the second stage, which required promoting hotpot restaurants across the entire Empire.
Clearly, that wasn't something achievable in the short term.
Meanwhile, the [Sell Element Cards] quest only required making Element Cards popular in the Royal Capital, which was much easier by comparison.
So Ron stopped hesitating and chose [Sell Element Cards] as the new main quest.
[System: "Main quest updated."]
-----
[Main Quest] — [Sell Element Cards]
[Requirement:
Make Element Cards popular throughout the Royal Capital. The popularity standard will be determined by the system.
Reward:
Element Potato Seed and its cultivation method.]
-----
After reading the quest description, Ron fell into thought.
Because he realized that after becoming the main quest, the task itself hadn't changed at all.
"So what's the benefit of changing it into a main quest?"
"At least increase the reward or something, right?"
