If Magic Duels truly grew in influence in the future, then renting the grand martial arena could be considered.
By that time, he might even have developed something like holographic projection, allowing him to deliver a true visual spectacle to the audience.
But for now, conditions were limited, and the audience base wasn't that large. The Moonview Street property was more than sufficient.
For the first tournament, as long as he met the main quest requirements, it was better to keep things small, stable, and focused on quality.
Ron walked around the shop alone, taking a general look. Once he had a rough framework in mind, he got back into his carriage and returned to the flower shop.
At this moment, Nora was sitting in the café on the second floor of the Royal Capital flower shop, reading a book while chatting with Yuna at the counter.
Occasionally, one or two noble ladies would come up to sit for a while or head to the third floor to play 'War of the Gods'. Nora would go up and chat with them for a bit.
What happened at last night's Winter Food Festival banquet had already spread throughout the noble circles of the Royal Capital.
So even though Nora no longer wore a hat and openly revealed her cat ears, the noble ladies still maintained basic courtesy.
Everyone knew that this beastfolk girl was currently Ron's most favored woman—no one would go out of their way to provoke her.
Beastfolk? So what?
As long as someone powerful backed you, even a pet could be more valuable than a human life.
The noble ladies understood and deeply agreed with this principle.
Because they themselves were the same.
If they didn't have their family backing, they would be like ordinary women—working all day to support their families, cooking, washing clothes, and taking care of children.
How could they possibly live so comfortably?
Ron found Nora, sat down beside her, and ordered a new drink from the menu.
Yuna placed a cup labeled "Abyss" in front of him and immediately left.
Now that Ron and Nora were together, Yuna stayed as far away as possible to avoid being overwhelmed by their affection.
So Ron looked down at the pitch-black, viscous liquid in front of him, not even having time to ask what it was.
But since it had made it onto the menu, it meant it had passed the tasting of all staff and was approved by Nora.
So he didn't hesitate. Frowning slightly, he took a small sip.
Sweet.
And there were tiny rice-like grains inside, chewy and oddly addictive.
Not bad.
"Boss, recently more and more noble ladies have been coming to play 'War of the Gods'," Nora reported. "Some of them have even asked if the tiles can be sold."
"Seriously?" Ron raised an eyebrow.
"Of course." Nora took out a stack of documents and handed over last week's usage records for the game rooms. "Look—some afternoons, all ten rooms upstairs are fully occupied."
The Mahjong sets in both the Royal Capital and City of Chaos shops were all grown by Ron himself in the cultivation space. He hadn't handed them over to the nuns for mass production.
After all, his current focus was on Element Cards, along with the hotpot business and the upcoming private magic laboratory.
He simply didn't have the extra energy to expand Mahjong production.
Even Legendary Kill from earlier was only available in limited quantities on the second floor of the City of Chaos tavern.
It hadn't been mass-produced either.
There were several reasons for this:
First, Ron wasn't in a hurry;
Second, Kiel didn't yet fully control a merchant caravan, so transport capacity was limited;
Third, the system hadn't issued any related side quests.
Fourth, Ron wasn't short on money and didn't want to expand too aggressively.
Among these, the transportation issue now has a preliminary solution—the spatial transfer channel in the flower shop's storage room.
As long as goods were packed into storage space, they could be instantly transported between the Royal Capital and the City of Chaos.
At this point, Ron could even cut out Kiel and operate independently.
But there was no need.
Moreover, Kiel's business talent was exceptional—Ron felt he was worth cultivating.
With Ron's backing, Kiel had a strong chance of inheriting one of his father's merchant caravans.
In the future, with careful grooming, this would effectively plant Ron's own foothold within the Gemstone Trade Alliance.
But that was for later.
"If it's just those noble ladies wanting to buy, sell them a set each," Ron said after taking another sip of Abyss. "But if anyone wants to buy in bulk, refuse them. I don't have time to arrange mass production right now."
"Understood." Nora nodded obediently.
Seeing her serious expression, Ron couldn't resist reaching out and taking her small hand into his, idly playing with it.
Not far away, Yuna leaned back with a look of disgust and eventually slipped away when she couldn't take it anymore.
Nora blushed slightly, quietly moving her chair closer. She even placed her other hand into Ron's palm, looking completely compliant.
"For the next period of time, I'll be building an experimental zone outside the City of Chaos," Ron said, absentmindedly tracing characters on her palm as he spoke. "Guy will be fully in charge, so he'll be quite busy."
Nora immediately understood and assured him, "I'll take care of the Magic Battle Arena."
"Good. Thanks for your hard work."
Ron had intended to write "silly girl" in Chinese characters on her palm, but forgot how to write the first character midway, so he ended up writing "little fool" instead.
After only five months, he was already forgetting how to write Chinese…
He shook off the fleeting emotion and continued, "Besides the Magic Battle Arena, I'm also planning to demolish and rebuild the Moonview Street property."
"You've already gotten familiar with the construction teams, so I'll leave communication with them to you. No need to trouble Guy with this."
"This project isn't urgent and won't conflict with the Magic Battle Arena—you can take your time."
Hearing that such an important task was being entrusted entirely to her, Nora felt a bit nervous, but quickly encouraged herself.
"Boss, I'll take it seriously," Nora said, suppressing the ticklish sensation in her palm and putting on a determined expression. "What exactly do I need to do?"
Ron pinched her cheek lightly, and she immediately broke into a shy smile.
"I plan to build a dedicated building for Magic Duel competitions," Ron said, continuing to trace on her palm. "Once Magic Duels are fully established, I'll organize a tournament. We'll need a proper venue."
"The Magic Battle Arena doesn't have spectator seating—it can't accommodate that many people. So we'll just build one ourselves."
"A Magic Duel tournament?" Nora tilted her head, recalling that Ron had mentioned this while watching the Spring Martial Tournament earlier. "You're really going to host one yourself…"
Ron nodded with a smile. "Doesn't it sound fun?"
Of course, he couldn't say it was because of a system quest.
So "fun" was the only answer.
And truthfully, he did think so.
Getting a group of nobles so hooked on something he created that they willingly step onto a stage to compete—while ordinary spectators watch from below…
Just thinking about it was entertaining.
