I was resting my back against Sebastian's chest when everything shifted again.
His heartbeat was steady beneath my ear, strong and grounding, and I think that's why I didn't realize Elias had moved until I felt the mattress dip on the other side of me.
Then warmth hovered over me.

He braced one arm beside my head, leaning down slowly, giving me enough time to look up at him. His eyes looked darker than usual.
He kissed me gently at first.
My lips.
Then my cheek.
Then the corner of my mouth, like he was mapping every place he'd almost lost the chance to touch.
I smiled against his skin. Sebastian's fingers were in my hair, stroking slowly, grounding me while Elias explored me with quiet affection.
Sebastian's touch wasn't demanding. It was protective. His hand moved through my hair, then down my back, then briefly brushed over Elias's head too — like he needed to touch both of us at once.
