-Aurelian Salvatore:
I had been watching them the entire time.
From the moment we stepped into the house, I couldn't stop observing the way their eyes moved from one corner of the room to another. The curiosity. The quiet amazement. The small smiles they tried—and failed—to hide.
Sebastian tried to stay composed, as he always did, but even he couldn't fully disguise the way his gaze lingered on certain details of the house. The architecture. The view from the windows. The structure of the place.
Elias was less subtle about it.
He wandered around the rooms with open fascination, occasionally pausing to stare at something like he couldn't quite believe it existed. The library had clearly impressed him the most, but even the living room alone had been enough to make him laugh in disbelief.
And honestly?
Watching them enjoy the island might have been my favorite part of the night.
