I was still trying to wrap my head around what Aurelian had just said—that he wanted to share his life force with us. 


Honestly, I had expected some huge, complicated ritual, some intense spellwork that would leave us drained or dizzy or… worse. Maybe even something dangerous. 


But what actually happened was almost… simple, in comparison. Aurelian grabbed our hands, pulling us gently to our room, his touch warm and grounding. The room felt intimate, quiet, lit softly by the evening light filtering through the windows. My pulse was already racing, my mind spinning with anticipation.


"Hold my hands," he said softly, his voice calm but electric in the tension of the moment. He positioned us so that we formed a small circle, our hands linking together, fingers intertwining naturally. I glanced at Sebastian, who gave me a reassuring smile, and then at Aurelian, whose eyes shone with a strange intensity, and I felt my heart tighten.
