Captain Marvel, now fully unleashed in Binary Mode, looked like a walking star—raw, blazing energy pouring out of her as if it had no bottom.
She clenched her fists.
A violent red shockwave tore through space and slammed straight into an interstellar fortress. Alarms screamed as the massive structure instantly activated its defensive shield, layers of shimmering energy snapping into place.
It didn't matter.
Captain Marvel's power had clearly jumped several tiers since the last time anyone saw her fight. The shield buckled, cracked, and then shattered like fragile glass. Her attack punched through and struck the fortress head-on.
Explosions rolled one after another, thunderous and relentless, turning the fortress into a blazing wreck.
Just as it was about to be completely obliterated, a black longsword suddenly shot out of the smoke-filled void.
Captain Marvel reacted fast, splitting her focus. One hand came up, firing a concentrated blast straight at the blade.
But this time, speed wasn't enough.
Because more black swords appeared—dozens of them—materializing from every direction like a deadly swarm.
Her expression tightened. She abandoned the fortress without hesitation and brought both hands up, shifting fully into defense as she clashed with the black blades.
Then things got worse.
Even more swords formed, filling the surrounding space until it looked like a floating execution ground.
Suddenly—
An invisible force rippled outward.
Every black sword shattered at once, bursting apart as if crushed by an unseen hammer.
Not far away, Black Bolt hovered silently, his mouth open wide.
Ultrasonic waves—pure destruction—spread outward from him.
No one had the faintest idea how this man was producing sound in a vacuum, but physics had clearly decided to take the day off. Reality shrugged and let it happen.
The result was undeniable.
Hela, flying in from the distance, went pale.
That power… it was no joke. At the very least, it was brushing the threshold of a Godfather-level existence.
Where did someone like that come from?
Her eyes flicked toward the battlefield.Earth?
Were these all Earth's people?
She frowned, memories surfacing. Before Odin had sealed her away in the Underworld, she had fought Earth's champions. Back then, aside from one annoyingly bald man, she hadn't taken any of them seriously.
And now?
A thousand years later, Earth was casually throwing monsters like this onto the battlefield.
Portals continued to open.
More figures emerged one after another—Iron Man, Ghost Rider, Magneto, Professor X, Black Panther, Ant-Man, Captain America, and many more.
The sight made Hela instinctively drift backward.
Then, at last, reinforcements arrived.
Laufey.The Black Order.
And finally—
Thanos.
His towering purple form stepped into view, dominating the battlefield with sheer presence alone.
Hela exhaled quietly, relief washing over her. She didn't know when it had started, but seeing Thanos always made her feel strangely secure—as if the chaos suddenly had a center.
Thanos didn't even glance at her. His cold gaze was locked on the portals.
So many surprises.
Not just Captain Marvel from the Twins, but nearly every notable hero Earth had to offer. None of them were at their absolute peak—but none of them were weak, either.
Across the battlefield, the Earth heroes felt it too.
Their earlier confidence evaporated the moment Thanos appeared. That crushing, tyrannical aura smothered any lingering bravado.
A moment later, Doctor Strange flew out of the portal alongside Scarlet Witch, Mantis, Star-Lord, Gamora, Ghost Rider, and the others.
Strange raised the Book of Vishanti. Golden runes flared to life, spreading across the heroes' bodies and stabilizing them—protecting them from the vacuum of space.
Black Bolt moved forward, drifting past the group. He crossed his arms and stared directly at Thanos, his expression proud, almost contemptuous.
He didn't say a word.
Naturally, Reed Richards stepped in.
"Thanos," Mr. Fantastic said calmly, "this is Black Bolt. With a single word, he can reduce you to dust. Leave now, and we'll let you go."
Thanks to the nearby interstellar fortress, there was just enough atmosphere for sound to carry.
Thanos narrowed his eyes.
That attack earlier had reached Celestial-level output—barely—but still. Bottom-tier, yes, but not something to ignore.
Was there a hidden technique? A trump card?
He studied Black Bolt's confidence, then glanced at Doctor Strange, who was casting spells as though victory were already guaranteed.
For the first time, doubt crept in.
Could Black Bolt be the gods' final answer to him?
No.
Better not take chances.
Thanos clenched his left hand. The Power Stone roared to life, purple energy surging violently as space itself trembled.
World-destroying power awakened.
The ruler state activated.
This time—
He would go all out.
Its strength surged instantly, leaping straight to the level of a single universe.
The very next instant—
He appeared right in front of Black Bolt, the Tyrant's Blade already raised.
In the blink of an eye, more than a hundred slashes exploded outward, blade light crisscrossing the space between them.
Yet to his surprise, Black Bolt didn't even try to dodge.
He stood there, perfectly still, as if mocking him, allowing every single strike to land cleanly.
…No evasion at all?
Could it be that Black Bolt, aside from his terrifying ultrasonic voice, also possessed cellular regeneration?
No. Playing it safe was better.
If regeneration was possible, then even the cells had to go.
The next second, a terrifying force capable of annihilating entire worlds surged through Thanos's body. It burst outward and completely engulfed Black Bolt.
In less than half a second, Black Bolt vanished.
Not shattered. Not destroyed.
Erased—like he had never existed in the universe at all.
Thanos frowned slightly as he sensed the space where Black Bolt had been.
Gone. Completely.
…That was far too easy.
Either Black Bolt had hidden trump cards he hadn't used, or—
At that moment, Mr. Fantastic, standing nearby, was frozen in shock.
What just happened?
How did Thanos suddenly appear in front of them? And how did Black Bolt… just disappear?
Before he could process it, a chain wrapped in roaring hellfire shot out from behind him and snapped tightly around Thanos's arm.
Seeing this, Mr. Fantastic's eyes lit up as he shouted excitedly,"Thanos! That's Ghost Rider's power! He purifies all evil souls—stop resisting!"
In his mind, Thanos was the embodiment of evil itself.
Once Ghost Rider judged a soul, escape was impossible.
Kill Thanos, and the rest of his forces would crumble like wet paper.
Thanos turned and gave Mr. Fantastic a strange, almost curious look.
Then, the Infinity Gauntlet on his left hand glowed with a deep orange light.
Soul Gem—activate.
Ghost Rider didn't speak. He simply stared at Thanos, flames flickering ominously within his hollow eyes.
Soon, a massive wave of soul energy surged forward, washing over Thanos like a spiritual tide.
Ghost Rider felt confident.
Once the fires of hell judged a soul as guilty, strength meant nothing. Judgment was absolute.
But seconds passed.
Then more seconds.
Nothing happened.
No burning. No screaming. No soul being dragged away.
Thanos just stood there… staring at him like he was watching a bad magic trick.
Impossible.
Had Thanos actually passed the trial by fire?
Before Ghost Rider could react, Thanos yanked hard on the chain, dragging him forward in an instant.
Click.
With a dry, chilling sound, Thanos tore Ghost Rider's flaming skull clean off.
Seeing this, Mr. Fantastic finally understood the situation.
"You—!" he shouted in fury. "You deserve to die!"
He clenched his fist and thrust it forward.
Yes—thrust.
His arm stretched unnaturally, elongating like rubber as it shot toward Thanos.
After all, Reed Richards' superpower was simple: his entire body could stretch and deform like elastic.
Thanos watched the incoming attack calmly.
Then, in a flash, he teleported directly in front of Mr. Fantastic.
He raised his blade and brought it down—
But halfway through the motion, he paused.
A thought crossed his mind.
The chop shifted into a casual slap.
Smack.
Mr. Fantastic was sent flying, his stretched body snapping back as he disappeared into the distance like a discarded rubber band.
