FLASHBACK
It's been 2 days, he still didn't reply to me.
What the hell!!!
Everytime i gets a notification my eyes turns to the screen, hoping it to be him.
Again I heard a message sound, as always I thought it wasn't him.
But the fact! He finally saw my messages!
He texted me to meet at the restaurant.
And didn't say anything. He just told me to be sneaky, there are men after me.
Wait, what?
Who told them to?
Anyways, I'll manage it!
I know kris will follow me. He's the only one I know among them, what do I do?
Just then my eyes found the window.
Yeah, that's a great idea! Maybe it can work!
I wore my mask, and sneakely, jumped off the window.
Kris and other bodyguards were on the front door.
I quickly escaped from the back door.
Hush! I'm free for now!
I opened my phone, an searched for the location.
I went there, I couldn't see where he was.
I tried to find him, but couldn't.
Is it a prank?
I came here without anyone telling! And this guy! Ugghhh!!!
He messaged me again.
And told me to go in the underground
Underground?
Is it safe?
I asked one of the staff for the way.
She took me there, i slowly went down.
There was a door, i slightly opened it.
My heart was racing too much.
I was a little afraid.
Why would he call me to this type of place.
Just as I opened it, the environment was totally different from the outside.
It was like a whole party. Not a good one.
Everyone here was drunk.
Couples kissing, drinking, and doing some stuff.
Whats this place!
I want to go out as soon as possible, but not before knowing the truth.
I called that temporary helper, he picked up and asked me to wait at the 4th number table.
Uhh!! What else will I have to do now!!
As he told, I did.
I waited for 5 minutes.
I was already awkward here.
A guy approached me.
"Hey miss, wanna drink?" That guy said, coming closer to me.
His breath stinks!!
I tried to push him away.
Just then another man came.
"Hey mister, she's with me. Better if you leave us alone." He said.
That guy left without saying anything.
That's strange, that type of guy might beat him.
"Umm, miss-" he said.
"Sorry, but I'm waiting for someone." I said cutting him off.
"I know." He said.
"Wait..are you..?" I asked.
I was eager to know about the past.
"Umm..what do you want from me now?" He said.
"I just wanted to know something." I said.
"Wasn't that beating enough?"
"Uh..I'll just ask you some questions...please?"
"Uhhh! Okay fine!!" He said in frustration.
"Tell me about my.."
My voice cracked.
"Parents?" He completed the sentence.
"I don't want you to get hurt, but they..." He stopped.
"They?" I asked.
I was curious. I had the last hope if I could meet them.
"They..died." he said.
I froze at his sentence. I couldn't process.
They d...die..died?
This..this can't be..
"Wh- what?" I asked. Trying to hold back.
"Yea-" he started to say something.
"How? When? Why?" I asked, throwing my hands on table.
"Umm...they were.."
"Can you stop buffering! Just tell..." I said.
Sudden heavy pain in my chest started to raise.
I sat back on the seat, trying to calm it down.
"I think, we should talk some other time." He tried to change the situation.
"No!! I want to know! Right now!" I said, furiously.
I was confused more than surprised, full of grief.
"Okay, as you say. So hear me out, don't blame me afterwards...the person you're living with..." He said, looking in my eyes.
His voice cracked.
"..they died because of him."
I froze, I was hoping it to be just a dream.
But...it wasn't.
He..was..the reason?
This can't be!!
He can't do that!
"No! No! You're jo- joking r- right?" I asked, bitting my upper lip out of anxiety, and disbelief.
"I AM NOT." he clarified.
"But, how do you know? I know you're lying!!" I said.
I hopped it to be another lie to make me hate him.
"I'm your-"
He stopped, as his words are going to be so much heavier.
"My...what?" I asked.
"Brother" he said.
Brother? Do I have any brother?
Oh my lord! I cnt breathe, i need to be outta here, i can't anymore.
"How? I do- don't ev- even know you." I said, stuttering.
"I know, I'm Kevin, it's better to talk about this later." He said.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"I'll take my leave." He said, and stood up to leave.
"But- wait!!" I tried to stop him.
But he left.
I was full of grief, confusion, betrayal.
I ran out of the place, got in some fresh air.
My chest..
My chest felt like, a burden of tons is kept on it.
I..I couldn't breathe.
The world started to revolve around me.
I couldn't see anything properly.
Somehow, i managed it to my car.
I drunk some water. It didn't help.
I wanted to get away from all this.
The more curious i get, the more hurt i feel.
I wish I never tried to learn this.
It was better to have a life like prison more than having betrayed by own.
My parents, the one who gave me life...does not exist anymore.
The parents, that made me happy, that made me their family, ended up hiding the truth from me all along.
The one I loved...
I don't know how I fell for him, the love eventually started to get deeper and then..
Then...i learned the truth.
Why did it has to be him?
Or why does it has to be...me?
I can't. I didn't even bother to whip my tears off.
I didn't care if my face, my top was whole wet, my mind didn't let me take off from what I just heard.
Some secrets are never meant to be discovered.
And about my brother...I don't know, how, when, and why?
