Rai watched as Zade brushed past him, grabbed his phone from the TV stand, and went straight back to his car without another word. Leaving.

Previously, when the bastard acted like this, Rai got angry because he didn't think it was that big of a deal. But this was the second time, and Rai had to accept, even if he hated to admit it, that he was the one at fault here.
He usually never made mistakes. Let alone twice.
This was not good.
Feeling completely shitty about himself, Rai walked back to his room and locked himself inside. As he laid on the bed, he wished sleep would just swallow him whole so he could forget everything.
And, luckily, it did.
It was a pattern for him. Rai always fell asleep when he was overwhelmed by stress, as if his body simply chose to shut down to protect itself.
