As the Desert Worm shot out from the ground, the others rained coordinated attacks on it. Blades and spears flashed, along with different abilities that seemed to synchronize.
Very soon, several deep wounds lined the creature's fleshy body. However, these wounds were only trivial considering how large the worm was.
"I'll hit it."
One of them took out a modified cock-and-fire gun, then fired straight at the creature. The bullet, made of a Nirad Creature's bone, shot through the air and penetrated deep into the worm's grotesque flesh.
It shrieked hoarsely, its body curling in recoil. However, that was not all. The shooter clicked a button on the remote he was holding, and the bullet suddenly exploded inside the creature.
It raised its body up in pain, smashing itself against the ground as the explosion shredded its organs.
