Kaiser only woke up after almost twenty hours of sleep. Perhaps because it had been months since he last nestled in the comfort of his king-sized bed.
Waking up in mundane pajamas, he dragged himself to the bathroom, cleaned himself, then wore another set of pajamas. He summoned the Drunken Treasure, using its special function to make the water become wine. Then, he drank to his fill.
He burped loudly, yawning as he made his way to the Great Hall—barefooted.
The heavy double doors were pushed open, and he walked into the gloomy hall. Surprisingly, there were a few familiar faces there, who were being addressed by the Patriarch.
His arrival drew their attention, and almost immediately, everyone's eyes dropped to his feet. Someone cursed. The others merely rolled their eyes, already accustomed to his habit of not wearing footwear.
"You're finally awake, sleepyhead."
Ture said fondly, gazing at him with gentle eyes.
