We ran through the tunnels, not even looking back as we rushed towards the portal with me taking up the rear.
Yeah… We're not suicidal enough to try and face that big of an army of Anomalies just by ourselves… Especially when I've not even fully awakened my powers yet.
As we were running up the spiral towards the top of the chasm, a loud crash could be heard coming from the direction of the tunnels below us.
Risking a peek over the ledge, I saw several Anomalies rushing through the bottom of the chasm, a few of them stopping to look straight up towards me before they made a run for the slope to join the others..
"They're coming. Move!" I ordered, prompting the others at the front to double their speed.
I heard scrambling at the side and I risked another peek to see a few Anomalies with longer limbs were climbing up the side of the chasm instead of using the slope.
I charged up my lightning and shot a bolt at one of them, striking it in the chest and knocking it off the side.
