Honestly, I was half expecting the tower to be set on fire after the three new Guardians joined.
Thankfully, my worries were unfounded and they seemed to be adapting rather well to their new positions.
Surprisingly, Olivia and Valletta didn't even get into any fights, physical or verbal. In fact, they seemed to be rather cordial in a way.
I saw the two of them sharing a nod in greeting with each other once but neither of them saying a word to each other.
The only disagreement they had was when Valletta wanted to suck on my life essence and Olivia butted in to make several rules like limiting how much the vampire could consume and when she is able to suck from me.
Surprisingly, Valletta accepted all her conditions without argument and I already felt her sucking on my life essence was beneficial to me since it apparently strengthens me when I refill the lost life energy afterwards anyway.
I suppose that was preferable to the two of them fighting constantly…
