Tilly POV
I smiled a little when my father came to walk me down the aisle. I straightened the blue dress I decided on and walked with him.
"You look beautiful, Chicken. I'm sorry you had to marry someone you hate—"
I decided to spare him the guilt. What was the point? Everyone was just doing the best they can.
"You are not making me do anything I don't want to do. I love Chase, Papa. I'm glad to be married to him."
This lying business...I was getting good at it.
We walked down the aisle.
I could hear the whispers.
"She's so pale."
"Look at her hands. She's shaking."
"Can you blame her? She lost her dragon. She lost everything."
"Shh. She's here. She can hear you."
I kept walking. One foot in front of the other with my father. He squeezed my hand gently.
"I'm fine, Papa"
We made it to the altar.
My brother was standing beside the priest. The only Winchester who knew the truth.
