Fifty years ago, a shower of meteors descended from the skies.

It was officially nighttime and the moment the sun went down, it didn't take more than ten minutes for the pale moon to rise into the sky. 


The switch was quite fast and unnatural even.


The group tensed up immediately as they listened for anything.


 The moment the moon rose up, they heard it.


Howls echoed through the air from every corner of this region.


 It bounced off the air like the world was hollowed.


"Wolves?" Ray uttered as he listened some more and, when he didn't hear any more sounds than the howls and growls, he finally came to the conclusion that the wolves were the inhabitants of this region.


"Yeah, of course," Van loudly facepalmed himself. 


"Aside from thick forests, wolves live in mountains too. How didn't I realize this on time?"


Chloe looked around the cave. "So what do we do now?"
