Fifty years ago, a shower of meteors descended from the skies.

The sound of chaos continued to blare across the city, with every single Aspirant fighting for their lives against the invading foes.


"Man, when will this be over? I'm getting tired," Felix complained while crouching down.


Kai turned toward the Werewolf with a raised brow.


"How can you be a Werewolf and have such little stamina?"


"Who said Werewolves can't get tired too? And for your information, I don't mean that I'm tired physically. I'm just mentally exhausted. We've been fighting for how long now?"


"Yet there are still this many Abberants left?" Kai snickered as he pointed around them.


Trisha didn't join in the banter. Her cold eyes continued scanning the battlefield, obviously searching for her next target.


"The point is, how many more do we still have? Hang on…" Felix muttered before tapping his ear.


"Uh, hi, Miss Mina. How many more Abberants are still on the field?"
