"So, Miss Amethia, don't mind if you tell us your story about why you're working for money, I mean, back there you seems to be very knowledgeable in magic, I supposed you are a mage,"
"Well..., I'm a witch, my whole family are elves, my parents moved to the Kingdom of Ferria and stayed there, my father past away long ago and my mom is terminally ill, she recently got sick so I'm working my butt off to pay for my mother's treatment,"
"...,do you have any siblings?"
"I do have a little sister, though she is only 7 years old,"
"Why don't you do high pay job specifically for mages?"
Will asked Amethia, thinking he would find a high pay job if he were to be in Amethia's shoes.
"I did, but in this Kingdom, also known as the land of dwarves, magic are not needed,"
"How did you became a witch then?"
"I went to study abroad in the Kingdom of Hiden and graduated there, my mom used all her saving for my studies, so I want to repay her by paying for her treatment,"
Raye looked towards Will and Al, and then looked back at Amethia.
"Do let us visit your mother, I can't leave a helpless person alone knowing that I could do something about it,"
"Oh uh...sure..."
"I promise, we won't make a nuisance,"
The night has fall as they finally reached to the one of the city in the Kingdom of Ferria. They went to a restaurant to have dinner first before visiting Amethia's sick mother. Amethia was surprised and happy as she ate as if she hasn't eaten for days.
"It taste so good..."
"You can order more if you like,"
Raye chuckled upon seeing Amethia gobbled down her food and ordered another plate. Amethia locked eyes with Raye and quickly move her glance. Her cheeks were beet red as Raye place his finger against his chin and chuckled. Will looked at Amethia eating up her second plate and returned eating his plate of food.
An hour later, Amethia brought the Everlight to her house and led them in.
"Big sis, you're home!"
a little girl who is no more than 8 came running towards Amethia. She also has an ash white hair though it is a bit more grayish than Amethia's.
"Tara, how's mom? Have you fed her yet?"
"I did, she finished her bowl of porridge,"
"Good job Tara,"
Amethia pet her little sister, Tara Tropaz's head and lead them into her mother's room.
"Who are these people, big sis?"
"These are...my friends, I made them while working,"
"Oh,"
Raye and the gang entered the small room and greeted the sick mother lying on the bed.
"Amethia, I see that you brought guest,"
"Yes I did mom,"
"Let me go make them a cup of tea to welcome them,"
"There's no need for you to do so mom, I'll do it,"
Amethia rest her sick mother that is trying to climb up back to the bed and went to make a cup of tea.
"What's your name young hero?"
"I'm Raye Winston, that's our party's mage Will Beuratt and our party's priest Al Sevis,"
Raye looked at the both of them as he introduced them to her.
"Tell me, how do you know my daughter?"
"Oh, we just met during our path to the city,..."
Will looked around the old house as he felt a pull on his cloak from behind. He looked backwards and saw nothing, he then moved his eye sight down and saw Amethia's little sister pulling his cloak.
"Hey hey, mr, are you a mage like big sis?"
"I am,"
"Then...can you come down here, I want to tell you something in secret,"
Will kneeled down and the little girl whispered into Will's left ear.
"Can you teach me how to use magic? I know big sis has been busy lately, and I want to learn magic to make things easier for her, but telling her will make her worry about me, so can you teach me how to use magic in secret?"
Will backed away a few step. He then stood up and hesitated for a while.
"Well..., not that I never taught people magic before..."
Will then looked at Tara's cute eyes and reluctantly chose to teach her.
"Fine, I'll do that for you, but make sure you don't tell anyone,"
"Really? Thanks big bro!"
"Big bro? Well, it's better than being called an uncle..."
"Sorry for the long wait!"
Amethia brought the tea and shared it with the Everlight in the living room. Tara brought her mother out and rested her on the couch. She then grabbed her cup of tea and took a sip out of it.
"So, Mr Raye said that he could help with your illness,"
"Oh, you don't have to go such length, it is not something for outsider to worry about,"
"I do need to worry, what is a hero if they can't help someone in need? Besides, I'm able to help you,"
Raye pulled out three satchel of gold and placed it on the table.
"I don't know how much does your mother's treatment cost but, I hope this is enough to cover the cost,"
Amethia opened the satchel and was shock to see the amount of gold in it.
"N-no Mr Raye, you don't have to do so!"
"It's alright, we still have plenty more after defeating the warlock,"
"Warlock!?"
Amethia was surprised upon hearing Raye's words.
"Oh, you didn't know? The warlock Enceladus Lauren has been defeated..."
"Of course I know! It's just that...I didn't know that you guys were the one who defeated him! Now I feel guilty for spending your money..."
"No no, it's on the house!"
"Thank you Mr Raye, but I don't want to trouble you guys just because of me,"
"It's alright, take it as a good deed from us,"
"I want to repay for your kindness,"
"...,How about you let us stay here for a while, this city is close to the mine, I supposed here would have goods to sell,"
"Fine by us, what do you think, Amethia, Tara?"
"Fine by me!"
Tara gleamed radiantly and looked at Will with her sparkling eyes. Will used his cloak to cover his eyes as if Tara's sparkling eyes blinded him.
"Oh uh, I'm fine!"
"It's settled then, do feel welcome to make yourself at home, we have a spare room upstairs, may Amethia lead you there,"
Amethia brought the Everlight to the spare room and helped set their mattress down. She then apologized to Raye for the hassle they caused for them.
"I'm sorry from bringing you into our family situation,"
"I said don't worry, it's our pleasure to do so,"
Amethia bow and left the room, leaving the Everlight alone.
"So...what's the plan?"
"Let's stay here for a week, we aren't in a rush now right? We can always take the carriage to the royal palace if we want to,"
"Great, I can visit the city square during the meantime,"
Al replied as he cleans his mini staff using a cloth. Will lay on the mattress thinking about how is he going to teach Tara. He then remembered a little girl with dark blue hair, older than Tara by a few years. He had found her while doing his mission tasked by the Demon King and brought her to the Demon King's Castle. He had taught her black magic and trained her. Will let out a smile and lay sides way and sleep.

SIDE STORY 3
(This happened after the battle against the warlock Enceladus Lauren)
Two days has passed after the battle against the warlock Enceladus Lauren. Raye has been heavily affected by the fatigue and has been sleeping for the past few days. Aether visited Raye holding a bouquet of flowers as Will and Al stood beside the bed.
"I'm here!"
Will and Al's gaze turned towards Aether from Raye.
"He still hasn't wake up huh,"
"I haven't been so worried since a student of mine nearly died,"
Al sighed as he remembered back then when he was a teacher, a student got seriously injured while he was on watch. Aether sighed too and suddenly stop for a second.
"Ye...wait, a student of yours...are you a teacher too Mr Al?"
"Huh? Oh yea, a former teacher,"
"So am I, students always cause trouble don't they,"
Aether and Al have a mutual agreement for a while.
"I now am teaching the second princess of Hiden, she always have that smug face when teaching her,"
"Maybe Al could teach you a thing or two, he has been a teacher for around ten years,"
Will suggested to Aether jokingly which Al slapped him at the back.
"Really? Mr Al, are you willingly to do that for me?"
Aether gleamed radiantly which made Al reluctantly agree to do so.
"You'll pay for this..."
Al whispered to Will as he snickered.
