The largest dwarves clan, Doreinberg is located in northeast from where the Everlight party is standing now, it is close to the volcanic mountains belt which they need to cross in order to reach to the east. The royal palace of Ferria, is the opposite direction of the Doreinberg clan, standing at southeast (Direction wise). The Everlight party reached a small town and decided to rest for the day. Just before them as they were chilling outside of a café, a paper boy was walking past them, yelling.
"I would like to buy one,"
Raye handed the little boy a few copper coins in exchange for the newspaper. He read it as he drank his coffee. Suddenly, he spat out and choke on his coffee and let off the newspaper which drops on the table. Al and Amethia went to take a look at it and was shocked. Finally, Will took the newspaper to see what's so shocking.
WARLOCK DEFEATED AGAIN
A rank Azure Vanguard party has defeated a warlock of calamity, Rion Hilja. He was defeated with the help of the dwarves from the Doreinberg clan.

Below the headline was an image of the battle between the warlock Rion Hilja. He was a buff guy with large muscle (the same person as the rough guy in the guild where there were three warlocks gathered together, Chapter 49). He has a bright red fiery hair and his clothes were reaped apart. In that scene, many dwarves were holding their weapons running towards the warlock as the hero of the Azure Vanguard leaped above the warlock, striking his sword on his chest. The warlock was grinning devilishly as they fought. Warlocks of calamity are chaotic aren't they? Will thought to himself as he read the rest of the passages.
Will release the newspaper on his hand and took a sip out of his coffee. Suddenly, shrieking sounds can be heard at the exit of the town. The Everlight rushed to see the commotion and saw a heavily injured man dragging his half dead body across the forest to the town.
"Beware of the demon..."
Al quickly ran and tried to heal the man but it was too late. Raye looked from the dead man then into the forest. He then placed his left hand on the pommel of his sword but chose not to enter the forest.
"Hero, won't you help us defeat that demon in the forest?"
"...,what will we get in exchange for doing so?"
"What? Well, let me ask the town head leader,"
The man ran back and returned with a man a few minutes later.
"We can only give you a sack of copper coins,"
Raye hesitated for a moment but agreed to do so.
"...,well then, we will do it, go tell the people not to venture the forest during this hour, we do not know how powerful is the demon yet,"
Raye then glanced behind where the other Everlight are standing and nodded.
The forest was surrounded by towering trees that you can't see what is beyond them. Only a straight path is formed ahead of them. Amethia held her staff tightly as she looked around of her surroundings. Many dead bodies can be seen lying on the ground with blood trails leading them deeper into the forrest. Suddenly, the Everlight party heard shrieking sound not afar into the forrest. They quickly ventured deeper and found a large demon holding a little boy on the head using his two large fingers. The demon has two large horns with large muscles on the arms and legs. A cloth covers his lower part and its weapon was a gigantic sword.
Raye drew out his sword and made a stance. Will and Amethia flew in the air and get ready their spells. The demon looked closely at the child but noticed Raye and let go of him. It raises its sword and slam it down on Raye. Raye parried it with his sword but the brute strength of the demon sent him few feet back. Amethia casted flame spells while Will casted thunder spells. The demon blocked it with its sword and slashes the air, creating air slashes that knocked away Amethia and Will who just turns into shadow. Raye then appeared behind the demon and slashes down with all his might though it just did a minor cut to it. The demon tilted its head behind and swings his left arm backwards and shot Raye afar. Raye hit the ground and spat out blood. He then climbed back up but suddenly the demon was in front of him and used its right leg to pin Raye down onto the ground. Raye who is now stuck spat out blood again as the demon pressed his feet deeper into the ground. A thunder spell stroke the right ear of the demon which caught its attention. It look behind to see Amethia flying in the air from far behind. The demon then noticed something or someone missing....
A sudden sneak attack from above bashed the demon onto the ground. It was Will Beuratt using the morning star. Al quickly rushed to heal Raye as Will distracts the demon. Blocking and retaliating attacks. The demon raised its right arm up high and swings down. Will turns into shadow as Amethia from above casted a white beam which blasted the lower left body part of the demon. The demon then tumbles down as if its leg was numb. it look down to see that Raye has sliced off its left leg. The demon tries to grabbed Raye but he slices off its fingers and stabbed its left hand. Amethia then casted another white beam as Raye escaped and it disintegrated the demon.
Raye looked back and saw the demon was slain. He resheathed his sword as Al went to heal him again. Raye noticed the little boy hiding behind the tree and decided to approach him.
"Are you alright?"
The boy walked towards Raye. As he was about to grabbed Raye's hand, a fire spell shot through the boy's head. Sending it to the ground.
