Elena's words had barely finished when the pressure around Stephen changed.
The courtyard of Iron House had already survived too much. Dickoff's borrowed power had cracked the stone, broken walls, shattered windows, and damaged several parts of the main mansion. Now, as the two Gods faced each other, the remaining servants hiding around the damaged entrances quickly understood that what happened before had only been the beginning.
Stephen looked at Elena without showing much emotion.
"You should move aside."
Elena did not.
She stood directly between him and Sekhmet, with her back partly turned toward her nephew and her full attention on the old butler in front of her.
"You entered this city planning to destroy the soul of a Dawn House member," Elena said. "You should be more worried about whether I will let you leave."
Mihos gave a small laugh from several steps behind Stephen.
