Sunagakure
Among all the villages, Sunagakure had come out of the war in the best condition.
They had not suffered any devastating losses.
Their military forces remained largely intact.
In fact, the only nation that had performed better in the war was Uzushio itself.
For the Kazekage, this created a tempting opportunity.
The Land of Earth was weakened.
Iwagakure had lost its leader, Mū (Second Tsuchikage), during the war.
Thousands of Iwa shinobi had died in battle.
Their military strength had been cut drastically.
To the Kazekage, the situation looked like gold waiting to be taken.
Iwa was vulnerable.
Their lands were rich with resources.
And right now…
There was almost no one strong enough left to defend them.
The temptation to strike was growing stronger by the day.
Kirigakure
If there was one nation suffering more than any other, it was Kirigakure.
The Land of Water had made the terrible mistake of clashing directly with Uzushio.
Twice.
And both times they had paid a terrible price.
They had lost their Mizukage.
They had lost two tailed beasts.
And their forces had been shattered during the war.
Now the people of Kiri deeply regretted ever raising their blades against the Uzumaki.
The once-feared Hidden Mist had become the most vulnerable village in the shinobi world.
Their enemies could strike from any direction.
The Land of Earth could attack from the west.
The Land of Lightning could threaten them from the north.
And the most dangerous Uzushiogakure.

Uzushio
Large numbers of people began settling in Uzushiogakure after the war.
To accommodate them, temporary tents were built in the outer areas of the island. Rows of tents soon covered the open land near the coast as more and more refugees arrived every week.
The Uzumaki shinobi were assigned to manage the camps. They distributed food, water, and basic supplies to the refugees and maintained order inside the settlements.
Among the refugees were also several shinobi from different lands. Because of this, the elders ordered strict checks on everyone entering Uzushio. Any shinobi allowed to stay had their chakra sealed with special Fūinjutsu so they could not cause trouble inside the village.
On the other hand, trade in Uzushiogakure was also flourishing.
Merchant ships frequently arrived at the island's harbour, bringing goods from many different lands. In return, Uzushio exported the things the Uzumaki were famous for.
Their Fūinjutsu creations.
Sealing storage scrolls were especially popular among merchants. With a single seal, large amounts of supplies could be stored and carried easily across long distances.
As trade continued to grow, wealth began flowing steadily into Uzushio. Markets near the harbour became busier every day, and merchant ships lined the docks from morning until night.
With the rising capital, hospitals, security, shops, and even a ninja academy were established.

SCENE CHANGE
Malenia stood silently before the four massive creatures.
Her crimson hair flowed behind her armour, shifting gently in the faint wind that passed through the cavern.
Before her stood
The Three-Tails, Isobu.
The Four-Tails, Son Goku.
The Five-Tails, Kokuō.
And the Six-Tails, Saiken.
Malenia's head slowly turned toward Isobu first.
"As Isobu has already told you," she said calmly, her voice carrying through the cavern.
"You will agree to my three terms. In return, you will have your freedom."

"No harm to the people of Uzushio."
"Do not go beyond the borders of this land."
"And you will sign a summoning contract with me."
The beasts remained silent.
The massive red monkey, the Four-Tails, slowly opened his mouth.
"Is this your so-called freedom, woman?"
Malenia did not react.
"Humans already fear you, and because of that fear, you are chained," she replied calmly.
"Sealed inside human bodies. Passed between villages like weapons."
Her voice remained steady, neither hostile nor apologetic.
"Since the day you were brought to the Elemental Nation, humans have already seen you as tools of war."
She paused for a moment before continuing.
"But I do not wish to repeat that cycle."
"I want to change this world."
Her pale, sightless eyes remained fixed ahead.
"But such a change will not happen overnight."
"Peace cannot be created in a single day."
"Until that day comes, until this world becomes a better place"
"You will remain in Uzushio," she continued.
The towering white beast, Kokuō, exhaled a cloud of steam.
"And why should we trust a human?"
Malenia answered without hesitation.
"Yes, you shouldn't."
The beasts were taken back
Her honesty was unexpected.
"I cannot free you from your problems, but I can show you the way," she said. (Certain painter words btw)
Her crimson hair shifted as a faint pressure filled the air.
"Lord Hashirama Senju believed tailed beasts would prevent war."
Malenia continued.
"It did create a peace."
"For a time."
"But once lord Hashirama died. That peace collapsed."
Her voice hardened.
"Human greed took over."
"This greed led to wars."
Malenia lifted her head again.
"Peace built on shared power is fragile."
Her voice became colder.
"There will be only one nation."
The pressure in the cavern deepened.
"If the world fears one ruler…"
Her voice lowered.
"...then the world will think twice before starting a war."
Son Goku let out a low laugh.
"So your peace is built on fear."
Malenia nodded.
"Yes."
Silence followed.
Each of the beasts understood.
If there were a person who could bring peace, it was this woman.
After a minute, all of the tailed beasts looked each other in the eye and came to a conclusion.
Each of the tailed beasts slowly extended their fist towards Malenia and introduced themself properly.
Four tail, Son Goku
Five tail, Kokuō.
Six tails, Saiken.
Malenia extended her arm and bumped her fist with them, "I'm Malenia. The blade of Uzushio and I have never known defeat."
