A few minutes had past, feeling drowsy, Sunless was seeing the things he desperately wanted to avoid or in his case to remember.
Flashes of images run through his mind. Faces of people he knew, and those he was familiar with.
The boy had to learn, the only way to move forward is to not listen at all. The less he knew the less attached he became. He didn't want to suffer loosing someone important again.
So the people of the local gang he joined, they all became a blur. Unimportant and forgettable, but Sunny wasn't just anyone who could forget even something insignificant.
'Enough...'
He let exhaustion overwhelm him again and finally fell asleep.

High in the air, Nephis felt the cold wind brush through her body. Summoning her armor. Covering her bare skin. She plunge into the water.
Luckily, the water felt deep enough to accommodate her fall.
As she reached the ground floor with ease negating as much force, her initial splash had done.
The water then slowly started draining, and soon would be gone entirely. Leaving only puddles of mud.
Neph drenched in water, slick back her hair.
Moments later, everything became too chaotic.
'one in the left, one at the right... and one hiding.'
Nephis concluded the enemies currently present. All are hitmen sent after her, the dreamers of the academy.
No words needed to be said, they all knew how deadly Nephis could be, plus nobody knows her aspect ability.
One holds a spear the other a hammer, while the other is still hiding.
The spear sweeps from her left targeting her legs, forcing her to jump mid air. The hammer followed to the other side.
Blocking the hammer with her blade. The spear retracted performing a quick trust.
As she redirects the impact of the hammer. She stands on one leg amd the other intercepting the spear.
The armor covering her feet got slightly scratched trying to avoid any real damage to her armor as it push away the spear.
A few seconds is all Neph has before being overwhelmed by her flaw, not even a minute. Even with all her endurance training this is currently what was possible. Despite the small window she has, she incorporate the use of small movements into her aspect.
Within a second, she could perform atleast 3 proper punches. Had she trained more in boxing is could have been more.
With both the hammer and the spear properly neutralized, She lets go of he sword doing a quick jab to the man holding the hammer.
Her fist was blocked as if hitting a rock. Yet the impact was too heavy to be blocked by one hand. Naturally Nephis had suffered a fracture trying to hit a stone with all her strength.
With both the man's hand occupied she also jabbed again with her other arm now imbued with her flames crushing the man's skull.
Yet the exchange wasn't fast enough to face the incoming spear. Using her fractured hand, she covers the back of her head.
Her prediction was right, she let the spear slide off, rather lossing her entire arm it just cut a portion of the arm and cutting a part of her silver hair.
The entire exchange happened within a second. Starting from her first strike and blocking the spear with her fractured arm.
Pulling away her other arm out of the skull she grabs the spear. Despite her other arm being utterly broken, she formed a fist trying to punch the spearholder on the face.
For a moment she saw the fangs bit her fractured now bleeding arm.
'paralysis or poison!?'
either way she didn't have time, the one hiding had already threw a weapon. Anticipating an opening, as it hides behind the one holding the hammer.
The dagger pierced her neck, the bone wasn't hit but her air flow was suddenly disrupted.
As she hits the ground on her knees, the constant ambush and surprise attack wasn't knew.
'why does it reminds me of him'
with a smirk she burns her wounds burning away what endurance she had left. Pulling away the dagger she throws it back at him.
Before it can desolve into essence, it had pierced the one hiding between their eyes. The moment of relief became their downfall.
The spearholder couldn't engage without knowing how her flames work. Neph was strong enough to hold her spear with one hand she couldn't let it happen for a second time.
As Nephis tries to stand, she lost consciousness for such a small moment. As she falls again the spear strikes again straight to her head.
When the light on her eyes returned, nephis knew the spear had already poked straight into her right eye before it could even reach her brain, she grabbed it with both hands and pulled her head out of the spear. Blood splattered out of her eye.
The venom was momentarily hindered by the flames, with the last of her will she crushed her opponents ribcage straight to the spine with Nephis' burning knuckles.
She fell down while her hand is still inside another person. Looking up, she saw the grey skies while flat on the ground.
"Sun... less..."
uttering the boy's name she fell asleep with a smile on her face.
