The "Chess Game" had shifted. Following Rudra's orders, Veer, Sai, and Jaswanth, along with Chitra and Priya, arrived at the ruins of Hampi. While the world saw crumbling stone temples and giant boulders, Veer's Naga Mana saw something else: a sleeping fortress of divine energy.
"Why are we here, Uncle?" Veer asked, looking at the massive Virupaksha Temple. "My father said the demons are strong in the West, but this place feels... ancient."
Sai gripped his trident. "Hampi is the lock, Veer. The Strong Demons in the West are trying to use dark rituals to drain the energy from these sacred stones. If the energy of Kishkindha falls, the barrier protecting our world breaks. Nara is trying to take the 'Rook' off the board."
The Ambush in the Ruins
As they walked through the stone chariot area, the air grew heavy. Suddenly, the shadows of the pillars detached themselves. These weren't the mindless demons they fought in the pits of Hell. These were Elite Void-Stalkers—the "Strong Demons" Rudra warned them about.
They wore armor made of enchanted chrome and carried weapons that hummed with a digital-magic frequency.
"Identification: Veer, Son of Rudra," one demon spoke in a synthesized, hollow voice. "Target priority: Absolute. Erase the piece from the board."
Chitra stepped forward, but Veer stopped her. "No. This is Hampi. Here, we don't fight with just our strength. We fight with the land."
The Awakening of the Stone
Veer slammed his hand onto the ancient ground. He didn't use his Black Smash. Instead, he channeled the Naga Mana into the very bedrock of Hampi.
"Awaken!" Veer roared.
The giant boulders—some weighing hundreds of tons—began to glow with a soft orange light. The myths were true. The stones of Hampi were sentient. Under Veer's command, the rocks shifted and formed into Stone Golems, standing 50 feet tall.
The Elite Void-Stalkers fired beams of purple energy, but the Hampi stones absorbed the hits. The Golems moved with surprising speed, crushing the high-tech demons underfoot.
The Arrival of the First General: Vritra-Zero
From the top of the Matanga Hill, a new figure descended. He looked human but was entirely mechanical, his eyes glowing with the signature black fire of Nara. He was Vritra-Zero, the 10th General of the Strong Demon Army.
"Impressive," Vritra-Zero said, hovering in mid-air. "You've turned the environment into your weapon. But I am programmed with the combat data of your father and your grandfather. I know every move you haven't even made yet."
Jaswanth stepped up beside Veer. "He has data, but he doesn't have the Tandava. Veer, you take the right. We take the left. Let's show this machine that Shiva's rage cannot be programmed."
The Chess Perspective
In the void, Nara leaned forward. "A calculated move, Prasad. You brought them to the source of the ancient power. But my General is a virus. He will infect the stones and turn your own weapons against you."
Prasad smiled, moving a small, seemingly insignificant stone piece on the board. "The stones of Hampi do not belong to me or you, Nara. They belong to the devotion of the past. And devotion c
annot be infected."The air in Hampi was thick with the scent of ancient stone and parched earth. As Veer, Chitra, and Priya stepped onto the rugged terrain, the Naga Mana in Veer's chest began to pulse rhythmically, reacting to the dormant power beneath the boulders.
"This place is a graveyard of giants," Priya whispered, her serpent instincts sensing the massive scale of the history here.
"No," Veer corrected, his new God-thinking ability analyzing the ley lines of the area. "It's a battery. And Nara is trying to drain it."
Suddenly, the horizon flickered. A squadron of Elite Void-Stalkers—the "Strong Demons" from the foreign base—descended. They didn't look like traditional monsters; they were sleek, armored in obsidian-chrome, and equipped with "Aura-Nullifiers."
"Target locked," a synthesized voice rang out. "Calculating victory probability... 98%."
The Strategy of the Young King
Sai and Jaswanth stepped forward, their tridents hummed with blue lightning. "Veer, stay back. These metal-men have weapons that bypass physical durability."
But Veer smiled. He looked at the massive boulders surrounding the Virupaksha Temple. He realized that Nara had sent "Science" to fight "Spirit."
"Uncles, they have data on us, but they don't have data on the Earth," Veer said. He slammed his fist into a 20-ton granite rock. Instead of shattering it, he infused it with Naga Mana.
The ground groaned. The boulders began to shift, stacking on top of each other to form Ancient"Science cannot calculate the weight of a God's will," Veer shouted. The Stone Golems swung massive arms, swatting the high-tech demons out of the sky like flies. The Aura-Nullifiers were useless against literal mountains of rock.
The Arrival of Vritra-Zero
From the top of Matanga Hill, the 10th General of Nara's army appeared: Vritra-Zero. He was a cyborg demon, half-flesh and half-forbidden technology.
"You use the environment to cover your weakness," Vritra-Zero droned, his eyes scanning Veer's power levels. "But I have the combat records of the Great Grandfather. I know the weakness of your bloodline."
Vritra-Zero raised a mechanical hand, and the air around the Golems began to vibrate at a high frequency, causing the stones to crack.
Chitra moved to intercept, but Veer held her back. "He thinks he's playing against my father. He doesn't realize he's playing against Prasad."
The Chess Table: The Master's Move
In the void, Nara smirked. "I've hacked the 'Rook,' Prasad. Your Golems are crumbling."
Prasad didn't look at the board. He looked at the bond between his family. "You see stones, Nara. I see memories. Watch the next square."
Back in Hampi, Veer closed his eyes. He didn't fight the vibration. He allowed his sword, Arivali, to sync with the frequency.
"Arivali, show him a move that isn't in the records," Veer commanded.
Veer vanished. Not with speed, but by shifting through the shadow of the stone. He reappeared directly behind Vritra-Zero. Before the machine could turn, Veer's hand was already on its core.
"Black Smash: Zero Point," Veer whispered.
A localized gravity well imploded inside the cyborg. In 5 seconds, the "High-Tech" general was reduced to a crushed ball of
scrap metal.
