Chapter 76 - The Awakening of Rukshi

The battlefield fell into a tomb-like silence as Karna, his power spent and his spirit broken by Alalakshmi's presence, collapsed into unconsciousness. Nearby, Rudra hit the dirt, his Kashya energy completely bottomed out.

But the silence didn't last.

The Void King Rises

As Rudra lay there, a terrifying transformation began. His head jerked back, and a crown of pitch-black aura erupted from his skull. He didn't pick up his fallen blade; instead, he reached into the empty air and summoned the forbidden weapon: The Sword Rukshi.

The Demon, sensing the shift, didn't hesitate. It unleashed a barrage of Light Rays, blinding beams meant to vaporize anything in their path. But as the light hit Rudra's new aura, it simply... vanished. Nothing could touch him.

Rudra's New State: Void Overload

Aura: The black wings turned into shards of pure void.

The Sword: Rukshi pulsed with a darkness so dense it began to pull the very fabric of Sutha Loka into its edge.

The Threat: Rudra's pressure was now so immense that the Loka itself began to crumble. The sky turned into a vacuum.

The End of the Demon

The Demon, driven by instinct, threw a punch with enough force to shatter a mountain. The fist stopped dead in the air, inches from Rudra's face. It wasn't a shield that stopped it—it was the sheer atmospheric pressure of Rudra's void aura.

"How... how is this possible?" the Demon stammered, its arm vibrating until the bone began to crack.

Rudra's eyes were no longer human. They were twin abysses. He whispered the first move of his new form:

"Snake Split."

In a microsecond, the world turned black. There was no sound of a blade, only the sound of reality tearing. The Demon didn't even have time to scream. Its massive body was instantly partitioned into 108 perfect slices, falling to the ground like a deck of cards.

The Coward's Opportunity

Rudra turned his void-drenched gaze toward Shakuni. "I... kill... you..." he wheezed. But the strain of the Void Overload was too much. The black aura flickered and died, the wings vanished, and Rudra collapsed into a dead faint, completely defenseless.

Shakuni, seeing his chance, crawled out from the shadows. He didn't use his own weapon; he picked up a discarded sword from the battlefield. With a trembling, wicked hand, he pressed the cold steel against Rudra's throat.

"Finally," Shakuni hissed, his eyes gleaming with malice. "The King falls by my hand."

The Shadow's Shadow

"Stop."

The voice was cold, feminine, and held the weight of an executioner's axe. Shakuni froze. He felt a razor-sharp edge pressing against the back of his own neck.

Standing behind him was Madhu, her eyes burning with a lethal promise.

"If you move even a millimeter, Shakuni, I will separate your head from your shoulders before you can blink," Madhu whispered.

Shakuni's breath hitched. He realized he was outmatched. In a desperate surge of magic, he used his remaining strength to vanish into a cloud of foul-smelling mist, escaping the bl

ade just as Madhu swung. The atmosphere in the Amaravathi manor was thick with relief. Sunlight filtered through the tall windows, casting long shadows across the room where Rudra lay. Surrounding his bed was his entire world: his five wives—Isha, Chitra, Priya, and the others—his nine children, his brothers Sai and Jaswanth, and his sister. They stood in a silent vigil, watching the rise and fall of his chest.

Rudra's eyes fluttered open. The memories of Sutha Loka rushed back like a tidal wave—the blood, the darkness, and the cold steel of the Sword Rukshi. He sat up abruptly, clutching his head as a dull throb echoed behind his temples.

"Where is Shakuni?" Rudra rasped, his voice dry. "I was in Sutha Loka... the demon..."

Madhu stepped forward, her expression unreadable but her eyes burning with a strange intensity. "You are home, Rudra. Madhu replied. "It is a miracle you are alive. You tapped into something forbidden. You used the Mantra Gosh form."

The Terror of the Mantra Gosh

Rudra looked at his hands, almost expecting to see the black veins still pulsing beneath his skin.

"Mantra Gosh is a state of absolute extremity," Madhu explained, her voice echoing in the quiet room. "It is a rare case, used only by the highest tier of monsters and a few ancient demons. In this state, you lose your humanity. Your control vanishes, and your entire power spectrum shifts into pure darkness. You don't just fight like a warrior; you change into a monster."

She paused, letting the weight of her words sink in. "You summoned the Sword Rukshi and ended that demon in a heartbeat. But you weren't 'Rudra' anymore. You were the void itself."

A Father's Embrace

In the corner of the room stood Karna. He looked different—the cold, arrogant light in his eyes had been replaced by a profound, trembling vulnerability.

"Father..." Karna whispered.

Rudra didn't hesitate. He swung his legs off the bed and pulled Karna into a crushing hug. "I will never let you be alone again, Karna," Rudra vowed, his voice thick with emotion. "You are my son. No matter what Shakuni whispered in your ear, you belong here, with us."

For the first time in his life, the hollow void in Karna's heart felt full. He wept silently against his father's shoulder, finally feeling the warmth of a family he thought he had lost forever.

Rudra pulled back and looked at Karna with a knowing smile. "And besides... I hear you have a certain fondness for my sister's daughter, Alalakshmi? Is that true?"

Karna flushed a deep crimson, looking away. "Yes, Father."

Rudra laughed, a genuine, hearty sound. "Then we shall make it happen. You are home now."

Karna then turned to Veer, bowing his head in shame. "Veer... I am sorry. For the arrow. For everything."

Veer, still bandaged but standing strong thanks to Chitra and Priya's healing, smiled and clasped Karna's hand. "It's over, brother. We are family. That's all that matters."

The Warning: 5% vs 11%

The moment of joy was cut short as Madhu's tone sharpened. She needed Rudra to understand the danger he had flirted with.

"Listen to me, Rudra," Madhu commanded. "The Mantra Gosh form is a double-edged sword. In that state, time does not flow well for the user. Reality warps. When you killed that demon, you were only using 3% of that power."

The room went silent. The brothers, Sai and Jaswanth, exchanged horrified looks. The destruction they had witnessed in Sutha Loka was only 3%?

"If you pushed to 5%, you would enter your true Demon God Form," Madhu continued. "But listen carefully: you cannot reach 11%. If you attempt to use 11% of that output, your mortal soul will be incinerated. Your body cannot contain the pressure of the Mantra Gosh. Right now, you are a candle trying to hold the fire of a sun."

Rudra looked at Madhu, the realization of his weakness hitting him hard. Shakuni was still out there, and the enemies they would face next would be even more terrifying.

"Master," Rudra said, kneeling before Madhu. "I beg you. Give me everything. I need the training. I need to master this power so I can protect my wives, my children, and my brothers. I won't let 5% be my limit. I need to be ready."

Madhu looked at the assembled family—the brothers, the wives, and the reclaimed son. She saw the fire in Rudra's eyes.

"The training will be a living nightmare, Rudra," Madhu warned. "But if you wish to stand against what is co

ming... we begin at dawn."
