The clock was ticking relentlessly. Forty-three hours stood between King Rudra and absolute, skeletal erasure.
Deep beneath the churning, divine waves of the Kshira Sagara (The Cosmic Ocean of Milk), three of Rudra's wives—Shanthi, Manasa, and Aadhya—were cutting through the high-pressure aquatic depths. Guided by ancient maps, they bypassed the outer oceanic trenches until they crossed a shimmering, bioluminescent barrier.
As they stepped through, their eyes widened in absolute awe.
Hidden right at the bottom of the deep ocean was a hidden valley that looked like an absolute Living Heaven. Golden light radiated from glowing coral reefs, pristine white sands lined the valley floor, and divine spiritual energy hummed through the crystal-clear water. It was a paradise cut off from the mortal world.
"It's breathtaking..." Manasa whispered, her voice amplified by her protective energy shroud. "But we don't have time to sightsee. Where is the Jala Kone flower?"
Shanthi stepped forward, her eyes narrowing as she scanned the luminous flora. "Let me try to locate its spiritual signature."
Closing her eyes, Shanthi summoned her divine Goddess Power, expanding her sensory aura to catch the unique, otherworldly scent of the mythical bloom. But after a few tense moments, she snapped her eyes open, frustrated. "It's no use! The ambient divine energy of Kshira Sagara is completely masking everything. I can't catch the smell."
Aadhya clenched her fists, her defensive instincts flaring. She instantly activated her high-tier Dandavara Sight, her vision shifting into an advanced combat spectrum to scan the perimeter for hidden traps or cloaked illusions. "Be on guard, both of you. A prize this legendary wouldn't be left out in the open."
Manasa looked down at a flowing, deep-water thermal current, a sudden deduction hitting her. "Wait... think about it. The Jala Kone is called the 'Water Core' flower. If it can literally blend into the fluid around it, it can easily hide inside the water itself, invisible to normal sight."
She then paused, her face turning incredibly serious as she looked at Shanthi and Aadhya. "But more importantly... if this flower is considered a complete myth in ancient history, it means it doesn't just grow on its own. There must be a colossal monster protecting it. Why didn't we think of that before?"
The moment the word 'monster' left Manasa's lips, the divine golden light of the valley violently flickered and dimmed. The peaceful water currents suddenly turned heavy and icy cold.
"Hehehehe..."
A deep, echoing, and ancient voice reverberated directly through their minds, shaking the very earth beneath their feet. The sound was so immense that it caused the water molecules around them to vibrate aggressively.
Shanthi, Manasa, and Aadhya instantly drew their weapons, spinning around in a tight defensive triangle, their eyes frantically searching the dark trenches.
"Who's there?!" Manasa demanded, her voice sharp with authority. "Show yourself!"
From the shifting, liquid shadows of the deep canyon, a massive, glowing pair of ancient eyes slowly opened, locking onto the three wives. The disembodied voice chuckled darkly, sending a chill straight down their spines.
"Every mortal who dares to crawl down into my domain wants the exact same thing... You all want the
flower, right?"The colossal, disembodied voice continued to echo through the glowing trenches of Kshira Sagara, pressure vibrating through the water. Shanthi, Manasa, and Aadhya stood locked in their defensive stance, weapons drawn.
"You all want the flower, right?" the ancient voice chuckled, the tone deep and mocking. "But the absolute irony of you foolish mortals is that... you are already walking on top of the flower."
Manasa's eyes violently widened. She stopped looking at the dark trenches and instantly snapped her gaze down toward the shifting, shimmering golden sands and the valley floor beneath their feet. A sudden, massive realization hit her brilliant mind.
"Wait..." Manasa gasped, looking up at the void. "If we are walking on it... it means this entire hidden ocean bed, this whole paradise... is the flower itself, right?!"
The voice burst into a deep, booming laughter that sent shockwaves through the aquatic currents. "Hahaha! Incredibly smart, Yakshini! Yes! The Jala Kone is not a mere blossom you can pluck. It is a living, sentient biological continent at the bottom of the sea."
Manasa's fear instantly melted into her signature, fierce attitude. Time was running out—Rudra only had less than 43 hours left! She stepped forward, pointing her weapon into the darkness, her voice burning with authority.
"Hey! Listen to me, whatever you are! Give us the core of the flower right now, or I will hit you with everything I've got! I will blast this whole dimension with my power!" Manasa roared, threatening the unseen entity.
The voice didn't even flinch. In fact, it sounded deeply amused. "Hit me? You want to attack me, little girl? You cannot hit what you cannot see. You don't stand even a fraction of a chance against my cosmic scale. So, my answer is no. And when I say no, it means NO."
Manasa's blood boiled. Refusing to back down, she raised her aura, her voice turning into a forcefully commanded, high-vibrational tone. "I didn't ask for your permission! I am commanding you! Hand over the core, or—"
"Manasa, stop!" Shanthi urgently intervened, grabbing Manasa's shoulder to suppress her rising energy. "Manasa, please stop this argument right now! Why are you arguing with an unknown, god-level voice when our husband's life is literally fading away by the second?!"
Manasa bit her lip, her breathing heavy, but she stepped back, realizing Shanthi was right. They had no time for ego clashes.
Shanthi stepped into the center of the golden valley, bowing her head slightly in a display of divine respect, her goddess aura radiating purity. She looked up into the shifting liquid shadows.
"Forgive my sister's anger, Great Guardian," Shanthi spoke with absolute clarity and calm determination. "We are here out of desperate love to save our husband, King Rudra. We know you will not hand over the source of this living heaven for free. Tell us... what is your condition? What challenge must we face to prove we are worthy of getting the Jala Kone flower?"
The entire ocean bed fell dead silent. The giant, glowing ancient eyes in the trench narrowed, assessing Shanthi's unbreak
able resolve.
