Attentively, he watched his cores reform layer by layer, watching his class, path, and frames return and be reforged from their root to their most superficial layer, burning all his energy to memorise them and dissect every single rune etched across their layers.

Not only had this pushed his aether control to yet another level, it had also mutated his mind and granted him a sort of instinctual understanding of his powers and boons, to the point where he could naturally feel what he needed to do to both unveil their secrets and strengthen them.

One of the biggest shocks he'd learned had been just how foolish he'd been during his first evolution.

Back then, he had just freshly formed his path, class, and frames and had been in a rush to finally begin evolving, and thus had forged his first prime gem using his own imagination.
