Uriel's 'own' way was rather simple.
Kill the Ghoul.
Normally, anyone that took the trial would simply have to manifest their paths, and as he'd guessed, refine them against the essence of the world around them.
The clash, at its core, would be based on Will. But through that, the trial taker would be able to see flaws in their path, find possibilities for evolution, and also learn how to wield their Wills.
It was the perfect trial.
But Uriel didn't need any of that.
His Path was essentially empty. What was there to refine?
He needed to forge the pillars of his path first, to see and learn from what a path truly was, and then steal it all for himself.
He needed to battle the Corrupted Supreme Spirits, tear apart the paths of their worlds, then learn from their essence before feeding it all to Elowen.
He needed to be much more hands-on.
