Kaiden's nerves were always on high alert, and he did not want others to approach him and Shuu. He was afraid that he would snap at someone and scare them.
But he was not going to hold back either if people continued to swarm him like flies.
"Sir, are you alright? Do you need a medic-?"
"Who cares about a medic? We need a guide here. An S-class needs to be guided-"
"We have Secretary Ann. He's an A-class and as good as guides get. We need to let him take the lead."
Everyone turned toward Secretary Ann, waiting for him to take charge and tell them what they needed to do. And frankly, this much responsibility scared Secretary Ann as well.
He did not like the look in Kaiden's eyes. It made him afraid, and even as a guide, he feared for his life approaching the annoyed esper.
But since he was the highest-ranking person here (except the kids), he needed to take a step forward and make sure no one got hurt.
"Sir Kaiden, you must be exhausted. Let me guide you-"
