Across the frozen city.
People twitch harder.
Voices leak through time—

Ilya stares in shock:
"…He didn't just resist it…"
"…he damaged it."
The darker Aeryx:
"…And now it's going to respond."
SCENE 1 — INSIDE: CONSEQUENCE
Aeryx is still standing in front of the entity.
But now—
His body is unstable.
Not flickering randomly—
Breaking in layers.
Like parts of him exist in different times.
His hand moves—
But leaves a delayed version behind.
The entity watches.
Processing.
Adapting.
"Anomaly escalation confirmed."
"Correction priority increased."
Aeryx breathes slowly.
But even his breath doesn't stay in sync.
SCENE 2 — OUTSIDE: THEY FEEL IT
Raven reaches the cracked barrier.
She touches it—
This time…
Her hand goes through.
Just slightly.
She freezes.
"…It opened."
Ilya:
"No…"
"…he opened it."
Raven doesn't wait.
She steps forward—
The darker Aeryx grabs her arm.
Hard.
"Think."
She looks at him—
Angry.
"You think I won't go?"
He doesn't let go.
"You think you'll come back?"
Silence.
SCENE 3 — INSIDE: THE SYSTEM CHANGES STRATEGY
The entity doesn't attack.
It observes Aeryx's instability.
Then—
Something new.
The space around them shifts.
Scenes appear.
Not illusions.
Other worlds.
Destroyed ones.
Frozen ones.
Collapsed ones.
The entity speaks:
"All deviations end here."
Aeryx watches.
Cities gone.
People erased.
Versions of reality… failed.
Then—
One scene stays longer.
A world like his.
Almost identical.
Until—
Everything stops.
Exactly like this one.
Aeryx's eyes tighten.
"…That's what you do."
SCENE 4 — OUTSIDE: THE DECISION
Raven pulls her arm free.
"…If I don't go—he faces it alone."
The darker Aeryx replies quietly:
"And if you go… you might become part of it."
Raven:
"…Then I'll make sure I don't freeze."
She steps into the crack.
SCENE 5 — ENTRY FAILURE
The moment Raven enters—
Her body glitches violently.
Not like Aeryx.
Worse.
Her movement stutters.
Vision splits.
She drops to one knee.
Ilya shouts from outside:
"RAVEN!"
Raven grits her teeth.
"…I'm not… stopping…"
She forces herself up.
Step by step.
Breaking through resistance.
SCENE 6 — INSIDE: AERYX BREAKING
Aeryx falls to one knee now.
Finally.
The damage is real.
He's reaching his limit.
The entity raises its hand again.
"Final correction phase."
Time begins to compress.
Everything around Aeryx folds inward.
SCENE 7 — THE MOMENT
Raven sees him.
Finally.
Blurry.
Distorted.
But there.
"…Aeryx…"
He hears her.
Barely.
But enough.
He looks up.
And for a second—
Everything stabilizes around him.
Just a little.
SCENE 8 — THE COST
The entity reacts instantly.
It shifts target.
From Aeryx—
To Raven.
"New variable detected."
The pressure hits her.
Hard.
Her body locks.
Time starts freezing around her.
Aeryx's eyes widen.
"…No."
SCENE 9 — THE CHOICE (BIG ONE)
Aeryx understands instantly:
If he keeps resisting → system continues → Raven gets erased
If he stops → system stabilizes → world stays frozen
No perfect option.
Raven looks at him.
Even while freezing.
And says softly:
"…don't stop…"
That line hits.
FINAL SCENE — THE PRICE
Aeryx closes his eyes.
One breath.
Then—
He lets go.
Not completely.
But enough.
The resistance drops.
The system stabilizes slightly.
Raven stops freezing.
Falls forward—
Alive.
But the crack in the world…
begins closing again.
FINAL SHOT
Aeryx stands alone again.
More stable now.
But different.
Quieter.
Weaker.
The entity speaks:
"Correction successful… partially."
Outside—
The city begins to freeze again.
Slowly.
Raven screams:
"AERYX—!"
But this time—
He doesn't move.
