'Nano, are you done synthesizing the data collected?' Sasuke asked as he put back the last book on the first floor of the library. He just finished scanning all of them.
[Affirmative]
'Give me a breakdown of what we have so far.'
[Total of 1,555 books scanned from the first floor of the library. The 475 books scanned after lunch had been more focused on anatomy, calligraphy, and basic chakra control exercises.]
'Now compress everything into streamlined data.'

'Wait till I get home first.' Says Sauske as he started making his way out of the library.
He waived the nice librarian goodbye and made his way to his home. When he got there, he saw his mother outside doing some gardening. She keeps a beautiful bed of flowers.
After he let his mother know that he's back, Sasuke went to his room.
He immediately went to lay down on his bed. It had been a long day of scanning books at the library.
'Dad came home late yesterday. He seemed to be in a bad mood. I should wait for a bit before I get to ask him about the ninjutsu thing. I will see if I can ask him tomorrow when his mood is better.'
'Alright, nano, transfer everything to me.'
[Affirmative]
This wasn't Sasuke's first time experiencing data transfer. He experienced it once before, when nano transferred the language to him. It wasn't painful or anything. It just felt weird to have knowledge inputted straight into your brain like that. He threw up the first time it happened. Thankfully he got used to it.
A little over a minute later, and the whole thing was over. Sasuke didn't waste time and went to sleep right after

'Alright. I'll head to the library again and see if I can go to the second floor.'
"Mom. I'm going to the library again."
"Ok. Be back before lunch. And don't bother anyone while you're there."
"Ok!"
A short while later, Sasuke was standing in front of the same librarian from yesterday.
"Welcome back, Sasuke. Are you going to keep browsing for today?"
"I wanted to go to the second floor."
"Sorry, Sasuke. You can't go to the second floor."
"Why not?"
"The first floor is for all clan members with no restrictions. The second floor is for academy students and shinobi. The third floor is not even in this building."
"Wait. Before we talk about the second floor. What was that about the third floor not being here? I thought this was the library."
"Of course, the third floor is not here. It contains high-level jutsu, most of which were written by lord third himself. You know he learned every jutsu in the village, right? It's thanks to his genius that we have the best library in the village. I dare say that our clan library is better than even the academy's, which is sponsored by the village itself."
"Ok, then, where is the third floor?"
"Sorry, Sasuke. Even if I wanted to tell you, I don't know. You need the approval of the clan elders or the clan head to go there."
"I see. Then I'll settle for the second floor for now," Sasuke said in a dejected tone, like he was settling for less.
"Good try, but no. Once you enroll in the academy, you will get access. Before then, I can't allow it."
"What if I get grandpa's approval?"
"Sure. If lord third approves it, then yes."
"I'll be back shortly," Sasuke yelled as he ran out of the library
Minutes later, he was back home
"Mom, I'm home!"
"Oh, Sasuke, you're back so soon."
"I wanted to go visit grandpa."
"What? Why so suddenly?"
"I want to go to the second floor of the library. The only way I can access it is with his approval."
"Sasuke, we can't just bother him in the middle of the day just for that."
"I bet grandpa needs a break, and he would be happy to see us."
"We can go. But if he's too busy, then we'll go back immediately. No arguments"
"Deal!"
'Nano, this is going to be the first time out of the clan compound. We should keep an eye out in case we see someone use a jutsu or something.'
[Affirmative]
As Sasuke and his mom walked through the streets, he couldn't help but marvel at the size of the village. 'It's way bigger than what was shown in the anime. This place is huge.'
The Sarutobi clan is near the center of the village, so they didn't pass any training grounds. But once they got close enough to the hokage tower, Nano picked up on something.

Sasuke looked to his left and saw a person walking up a tree
'Scan and store the data.'
[Affirmative]
'Well. Now I have tree climbing.'
[Notice! Chakra usage detected at your 12]
'At my 12? There is no one in front of me.'
[Look up higher]
Sasuke looked up at the tree in the middle of the street he was walking on. He couldn't see anyone there.
'I don't see anyone there. It has to be anbu.'
[Switching to thermal viewing]
Sasuke's vision changed to heat vision. Now he can see who was in the tree. He was correct; it was an anbu operative.
'Scan and store their chakra data.'
[Affirmative!]
But right before his eyes, a second anbu had appeared and then disappeared immediately after.
'What did they do? I couldn't see where that second anbu came from?'
[Notice: The second person was created from chakra. Chakra dispersed traveled to a different location. Highly likely that a clone jutsu was used. Chances are they were a clone with a message]
'If it had a message, it could be the shadow clone jutsu. Did you scan it?'
[Affirmative]
'Nice!'
Raina looked at her son as they walked, " You seem happy, Sasuke."
"Uh, yeah. I never got to leave the clan compound before."
"When you get a little older, you will be able to leave the compound all on your own," Raina said as she ruffled his hair.
It wasn't long before they got to the Hokage Tower.
"Halt. What business do you have in the Hokage Tower?" Just as they were a few feet away from the entrance, a shinobi with a face mask appeared in front of them
"Fall back. I'll take it from here." Another shinobi with a mask appeared
"Captain," The first shinobi said in acknowledgment before he disappeared
The captain looked around for a bit. Once he made sure no one was looking, he looked at them. "Follow me"
Sasuke and his mom recognized the voice. They followed without a word. They entered the tower and went inside one of the rooms. Once the door was shut, the anbu captain took the mask off
"Why are you guys here? Is everything ok?"
"Hello, darling."
"Hey, Dad."
"Well, you guys seem fine. So what brings you here?"
"I came to see grandpa." Sasuke chimed with a smile on his face
"Sasuke. We are in the middle of a war. Lord Hokage is busy," Raiki said in a stern voice.
"Oh, sorry," Sasuke said, dejected.
"Don't be sad, Sasuke. How about this? I'll let him know you stopped by. If he has a chance, he will come visit, ok?" Seeing Sasuke's dejected face, Raiki couldn't help but soften up a bit
"Really, Dad?"
"Yes. Now go home and don't give your mom a hard time."
Sasuke turned to leave.
"Sorry for bothering you, darling," Raina said as she gave Raiki a kiss
"It's ok. I should be home by dinner time."
"Ok. Stay safe"
On their way back, Raina stopped by a dango shop to cheer her son up.
"What do you think, Sasuke. Are these better than the ones I make at home?"
"No way! The ones you make are way more delicious."
"Haha, alright Sasuke, we should head back home. It's almost lunch time."
