Chapter 201 - Chapter 203: Solution

Chapter 203: Solution

Although Eriri was jealous, she knew that Kaede's actions just now hadn't crossed any lines; they were simply basic courtesies.

But there was nothing she could do. Seeing Kaede chatting so happily with the other person made it truly difficult for Eriri to maintain a smiling face. Maintaining her current expression was already a display of great restraint. If it were some girls with a bigger temper, they would probably have already lashed out at their boyfriends.

Eriri remained in this state until they returned home.

After changing into slippers and coming inside, Kaede looked at Eriri, who had put down her school bag and sat on the sofa, and scratched his head with a wry smile.

This was the first time he had seen Eriri like this, and it was quite cute, actually.

However, staying like this wasn't a solution.

After thinking for a moment, Kaede came up with a solution.

He sat down next to Eriri, watching the girl who was constantly flipping channels with the remote control, and asked, "Eriri, is the TV good?"

Eriri stuck out her tongue at Kaede and said, "Go cook quickly, tonight's dinner is up to you~"

"Dinner, huh? That's fine, but I think there's another matter that needs to be handled right now."

"What?"

"Of course, it's about you being jealous, Eriri." As he spoke, Kaede took the remote control from Eriri's hand, turned off the TV, and then, to Eriri's gasp, lifted her up by the waist. "To prevent similar incidents from happening again, I think I must properly demonstrate my attitude today. Besides Eriri, I won't want anyone else!"

Then, he started walking.

Suddenly being picked up like that, a sense of foreboding rose in Eriri's heart. She looked at Kaede and said, "Wh-what are you going to do?"

"I told you, to let Eriri fully understand my feelings."

With that, he carried Eriri into the bedroom and, once inside, gently tossed her onto the bed.

Kaede knew very well that Eriri wasn't truly angry and jealous, but rather just a little moody about him chatting with another girl, which was perfectly normal.

For this, Kaede's solution was to say no unnecessary words and prove everything through action.

"Perfect, the things I bought yesterday can be opened today."

Afterward, it was naturally a time that couldn't be described.

When everything ended, night had completely fallen, and the two moved from the bedroom to the bathroom for a shower.

Twenty minutes later, the bathroom door opened, and Eriri, dressed in pajamas, was carried out by Kaede and placed on the living room sofa.

By now, Eriri no longer had the expression she had when they first returned. As Kaede set her down, her small hand playfully hit him, and she grumbled, "Are you trying to exhaust me to death?"

"Uh… I'm clearly the one who's tired, aren't I?"

Kaede's waist was still incredibly sore, and he really needed to rest for a while.

Eriri's already rosy cheeks became even redder. She immediately turned her head away and said, "No way! Hurry up and finish! I'm super hungry right now!"

"Yes, yes, I'll prepare it right away, but before that."

Kaede leaned down, pointed to his lips with his finger in front of Eriri, and said with a smile, "I worked so hard just now, and now I still have to prepare dinner. Shouldn't Eriri give me a reward?"

"Ugh… it's not like I actively made you do that!"

Despite her words, Eriri, being honest with her body, still leaned in and lightly pecked Kaede's lips, then pushed his chest, "Alright, satisfied now?"

"Satisfied, satisfied. I feel full of energy again."

Because it was getting late, Kaede didn't prepare anything complicated. After cooking some rice, he fried steak and made a stir-fry, finishing dinner in the shortest possible time.

Having expended a lot of energy earlier, and with it being almost eight o'clock, both were extremely hungry and ate much faster than usual.

After dinner, he put the dishes into the dishwasher. Kaede went to the sofa, sat down, and pulled the languid-looking Eriri into his arms, saying with a smile, "What, tired?"

"Hmph, it's all your fault."

Eriri rested her head against Kaede's chin, her face red as she said, "I'm sleeping in my own room tonight, so you won't try anything funny with me again!"

"Oh? Really?"

Kaede heard this, hugged Eriri tightly, and looked at her, saying, "Then I'll change environments too. I'll sleep in your room, since I have keys to everywhere in the house anyway."

"How can you be so unreasonable?"

"Hahaha, how is this unreasonable?" Kaede said, nuzzling Eriri's cheek affectionately, "Didn't Eriri say before that you love me the most? I feel the same, I love Eriri the most! And now I've caught a sickness where I can't sleep without hugging Eriri, so you have to take good care of me."

"How can there be such a sickness!!!"

While Eriri was speechless at Kaede's sophistry, a smile also appeared on her face.

After the two of them cuddled on the sofa for a while, Eriri looked at the time displayed on the clock and exclaimed, "Ah, it's already so late! Kaede-kun, we haven't done our homework yet!"

Kaede's expression instantly changed, "…Eriri, what you just said is a bit of a mood killer, and you're actually bringing up homework voluntarily."

"Ah, ah, ah, I don't care! Let's hurry and do our homework! I don't want to get a reputation for not submitting homework!"

While homework was one aspect, the main reason was that Eriri felt if she continued to cuddle with Kaede, the scene from when they returned home in the evening would likely repeat itself.

Arriving in the studio, taking out her homework notebook, Eriri looked at Kaede and said somewhat shyly, "Kaede-kun, can I discuss something with you?"

"Hmm? What is it?"

Kaede, who was about to start his homework, looked at Eriri curiously.

"It's… it's about that thing, should we reduce the frequency a bit?" Eriri said, her face slightly flushed, "Isn't overdoing it bad for your body? Your health is the most important, after all."

"Oh, is that what it is?"

Kaede listened, then smiled and showed Eriri the muscles on his arm, saying, "Don't worry, although it's less than before, I still exercise every morning, and my physical condition is good. Instead of worrying about me, Eriri, you should also get some good physical training!"

Lying on the desk, Eriri loudly declared, "Ah, ah, ah, ah, I know! I'm sorry I'm such a weakling! I'll train hard from now on!"

Although it might not have much effect, Kaede's words weren't wrong; she really did need to train her physical endurance.

As for the moderation she had just mentioned, it was immediately forgotten.
