Chapter 342 - Chapter 345: Nice Environment

Chapter 345: Nice Environment

Although they hadn't visited many places these past two days, they had wandered around and seen most of the popular spots in Chiba City, even if they hadn't specifically explored some of them.

Sitting on the sofa in the room, Eriri cut a small piece of steak and put it into her mouth, then happily narrowed her eyes and said, "Kaede-kun, did you ask if there are any requirements for the top floor?"

"Yes, I just asked the room service attendant."

Kaede nodded and said, "Age isn't really an issue, after all, we're customers, and the staff here are professional. Also, we don't drink, we're just going to join the fun and experience the atmosphere. Going there is fine, but the top floor has certain dress code requirements. Once we finish dinner and rest, let's go pick out some clothes. The hotel also provides them."

"Oh! They provide clothes too?"

"If you pay enough, you get everything, right?"

"Hehe, you're right."

As the saying goes, the customer is king, especially in such a high-end place. As long as you pay enough, there's no service you can't imagine, and no service the hotel can't provide.

Of course, those services that might lead to misunderstandings are naturally impossible.

After finishing the Western meal carefully prepared by the chef, the two were not in a hurry. It was just past seven o'clock. They leisurely watched TV in the room for a while before contacting the hotel staff to choose and change into formal attire.

Taking the elevator, the two headed directly to the top floor of the hotel.

Only the two of them were in the elevator. Eriri held Kaede's arm and looked at her light pink dress.

"Hmm~~ It's been a long time since I dressed like this. After looking through everything, this is the only outfit that really suits my taste."

"It's not bad. At least you found something you like," Kaede said with a smile. "We're just joining the fun, not actually attending some banquet, otherwise we would have gone to a specialized store to pick out clothes long ago."

"Hehe, you're right."

"Ding~~~"

Just as they were talking, the elevator reached the top.

After stepping out of the elevator, they finally saw the bar ahead, named "Angel's Staircase."

Seeing this name, Kaede's expression became a little conflicted, because he realized that he would probably run into those few people again later.

"Kaede-kun, what's wrong?"

"Nothing." Shaking his head, Kaede said with a smile, "Let's go, we should go in, but remember, no drinking!"

"Don't worry~~~"

Pushing open the door and entering, as expected, it was similar to some quiet bars seen online, seemingly converted from a small banquet hall, with an emphasis on a tranquil and elegant environment.

Although there weren't many people inside, everyone respected the atmosphere; there was no loud talking, and basically, all you could hear after entering was the sound of the pianist playing.

Looking around, Eriri said in surprise, "Oh~~~ The environment is really nice. Kaede-kun, where should we sit?"

"Let's find a booth. Eriri, do you want to sit in a corner or closer to the middle? If it's too far, you might not hear the piano clearly."

Although he had just entered, Kaede could tell that the pianist was very skilled.

"Hmm~~~ Let's not sit in a corner. Let's just find a random spot."

Then, she pulled Kaede to an empty booth, sat down, called a waiter, and ordered two mixed drinks.

"Hmm, not bad. Even though we're not drinking alcohol, there are other beverages available."

Taking a sip of the special drink, Eriri nodded with satisfaction.

"It feels really good, is it because this is a big hotel?"

"Of course."

Kaede swirled his glass, looking at the surrounding guests, and said, "Ordinary bars, unless they are quiet bars, couldn't possibly be this quiet. Although I haven't been to those places, I imagine you've seen them in various movies. They're too noisy and not really suitable for us to go to. Moreover, they're mixed bags of people, who knows who you might run into."

"Oh~~~ Then I won't go to those bars in the future. Coming to a place like this is quite nice."

Little girl, you also have to consider the consumption level. Not just anyone comes to a place like this; there are even dress code requirements.

However, if Eriri wanted to in the future, Kaede wouldn't mind taking her to some quiet bars with good environments; those places are generally fine.

Drinking delicious beverages, eating small snacks, and listening to beautiful piano music, this leisurely feeling was quite pleasant.

As time slowly moved into the night, the number of guests here gradually increased, but it wasn't so crowded that there were no seats left; quite a few spots remained.

And it was at this moment that Kaede and Eriri saw three new guests enter.

"Oh? Kaede-kun, look quickly, it's the people we met at the Maid Cafe this afternoon, but this time there are only three!"

They really came.

Kaede only remembered that they would appear on the top floor of a hotel at night, but he didn't expect it to actually be the place they were staying.

He glanced at the bar counter and, sure enough, there was a girl who looked to be their age, working as a bartender there.

Seeing the three walk over, Kaede whispered, "The Maid Cafe this afternoon, and now here, it seems they're looking for someone. That girl must be their classmate, probably something happened."

"Oh~~~"

Eriri sighed, suddenly feeling a bit curious.

"Kaede-kun, what do you think they're here for? Running around until so late for a classmate's matter, but looking at the atmosphere of their conversation now, it doesn't seem like they're that close." Pulling Kaede's arm, Eriri said, "Kaede-kun, why don't we go over and see!"

"Hm? There's nothing to know, is there?"

Kaede clearly didn't want to join the excitement, and whispered, "Those people don't look like idiots; the matter should be easily resolved. We're not familiar with them, so let's not get involved."

"But, we met them this afternoon, and we're meeting them again tonight. It feels like fate!"

"Uh... fate or whatever."

Although Kaede still wanted to say something, Eriri was clearly already excited, and she forcefully pulled Kaede to his feet, saying, "Oh, Kaede-kun, you're not socially awkward, and neither am I. Let's just pretend we happened to run into them!"

"...When did you become so warm-hearted, Eriri?"

"Hehe, just this once! And think about it, even for us, if we weren't just out having fun, we wouldn't come to a place like this in the middle of the night, right? Their determination is not small!"

And so, Kaede was pulled by Eriri towards the bar counter.

At the bar counter, Kawasaki Saki, who was speaking to the three with an impatient tone, saw someone approaching and immediately whispered, "I don't care what you want to do, just be quiet right now. We have guests."

Then, Hachiman Hikigaya and the other two turned their heads and saw the two people they had met that afternoon, all showing surprised expressions.
