Khal had not responded after that. Devion tried to make a fuss for a moment before he, too, fell silent and yawned. As for Ayen, he was waiting for an opportunity to raise an issue about the guiding session.
They soon arrived at the gathering of monsters. Ayen glanced at them, unfazed.
While there were a few S-class monsters in them, they were not the majority. Ayen had been used to seeing S-class monsters that they barely stirred his emotions.
Of course, if Khal and Devion were not with him, then that was another story.
Devion's excitement was instantly ignited, his eyes turning red. Just as he was about to jump from the ice platform and go wild as usual, he paused and turned to Ayen.
Ayen met his eyes.
"You're here," Devion said, becoming lost in thought.
Ayen was aware of his fighting style and so took the initiative to suggest something.
"It's fine. I can stay here."
