Chapter 265 - The Enraged Jiraiya

Nawaki walked into Hyuga Arin's house clutching his head, a large bump already forming. He glanced at Machi sitting on the sofa, then hesitated before speaking to Arin.

"Big bro… playboys don't end well."

Arin shot him a glare, and Nawaki immediately lowered his head.

Something about this situation felt very wrong to Arin.

Machi snorted and turned back to the TV.

"Playboy…" Natsuna muttered softly, only to shut up instantly when Arin glared at her.

"What exactly did I do? Don't you know?" Arin looked at Nawaki.

Nawaki sighed helplessly. "I did see you go out last night. But what happened after that, I have no idea. And this morning, my sister was shouting so loudly everyone nearby heard it."

Veins bulged faintly on Arin's forehead.

This felt like he had dug his own grave.

Did Tsunade realize something was off and just… not explain anything?!

Nawaki suddenly nodded seriously. "But honestly, my sister still hasn't moved on from Dan. If you can help her get over it, I wouldn't object… it's just…"

He looked at the room—

One mature woman, one little girl.

"…being a playboy isn't acceptable."

"Bang!"

Arin punched another bump onto Nawaki's head.

Nawaki clutched his head, looking wronged. "Big bro, I already agreed to you becoming my brother-in-law! Even if there's a fifteen-year age gap, I believe time isn't a problem!"

Arin raised his fist again.

Nawaki immediately shut up.

Arin rubbed his temples.

Was this supposed to be a lesson for Tsunade—

Or for himself?

At that moment, shouting came from outside.

"Hyuga Arin, you brat!! Get out here!! I'm going to duel you!!!"

Jiraiya's furious voice echoed from outside.

Wait—

When did this guy come back? Wasn't he traveling the ninja world?

Arin walked out with a headache.

Outside, Jiraiya was being held back by Minato and his team, yet he still glared angrily at Arin.

"You brat! Let's duel!! The loser stays away from Tsunade!!"

"Are you in elementary school?!"

Minato looked at Arin helplessly, clearly unable to control his teacher.

Arin sighed. "That kind of bet is meaningless."

Minato glanced at him gratefully, hoping he could talk Jiraiya down.

"But we can still fight."

Minato's team: "???"

Nawaki: "???"

A chilly autumn wind blew.

In the forests of Konoha—

Arin and Jiraiya stood facing each other.

Compared to Arin's calm expression, Jiraiya looked furious, fists clenched.

"You brat! You actually did that and that with Tsunade! I won't forgive you!! I haven't even done that!!!"

That's what you're focused on?!

Minato covered his face.

As expected—

Jiraiya-sensei was unreliable.

"That kind of thing doesn't matter," Arin cracked his arms. "And for the record—I didn't do anything!!!"

"How could it not matter?! And I don't believe you did nothing!" Jiraiya said righteously, before suddenly looking dreamy. "That's Tsunade! That perfect body, that beautiful face—no man could resist! You definitely did something!"

No wonder Tsunade always beat him.

Arin didn't even want to argue anymore.

He stepped forward—

And charged.

Jiraiya's expression changed as he raised his arms to block.

"Bang!"

Jiraiya was sent flying.

He twisted midair and landed, staring at Arin in shock.

"What terrifying strength."

In the next instant—

Arin appeared in front of him and kicked.

Jiraiya grabbed the leg with both hands, planting one foot firmly on the ground to redirect the force.

"Boom!!"

The ground cracked as he flung Arin into the air.

Arin flipped midair and landed back in his original position.

Uchiha Chizuru and Akimichi Yoshimaru stared blankly.

"What just happened?"

They hadn't seen anything clearly—

Only that Arin rushed forward and returned.

Nawaki and Minato looked serious.

"They just tested each other. Neither gained the upper hand."

They could barely keep up.

Arin bounced lightly on the spot.

"As expected of one of the Sannin."

"No matter what, I'm still an elite jonin," Jiraiya said seriously.

That brief exchange told him everything—

Arin had already reached their level.

"Then let's get a bit serious."

Blue-black flames erupted around Arin's body.

Jiraiya grew cautious.

That level of fire—

He couldn't casually use Wild Lion's Mane Technique.

And he had never seen someone cast techniques so effortlessly.

Arin charged again.

The moment they clashed, Jiraiya frowned.

Not only was Arin's strength immense—

The flames burned intensely.

Even if he redirected the force—

The heat couldn't be so easily transferred.

"Poof!"

Jiraiya used Substitution Technique.

The spot where he stood was shattered by Arin's punch.

Jiraiya reappeared on a nearby tree, hands already forming seals.

"Fire Release: Great Flame Bomb!"

A massive torrent of fire surged toward Arin.

Arin raised his hand and stepped forward.

"Flame Devour."

The flames shrank rapidly—

Until they vanished.

In his other hand, a blue-black fireball formed.

He hurled it back.

"Here—take it!"

Jiraiya quickly leapt away.

The fireball struck the tree, instantly reducing it to ashes.

He patted his chest.

"That was close."

His hands kept moving—

Another jutsu forming.

"Water Release: Water Trumpet!"

A powerful stream of water blasted toward Arin.

Arin leapt up to dodge, then raised his hand.

A bow formed.

One hand split into six, rapidly drawing the string.

Six flaming arrows shot toward Jiraiya.

Jiraiya quickly formed seals.

"Water Release: Water Formation Wall!"

A wall of water rose, colliding with the flaming arrows and producing thick steam that spread everywhere, obscuring their figures.

Arin landed and said helplessly,

"Jiraiya-senpai… did you forget I'm from the Hyuga clan?"

He instantly locked onto Jiraiya's position within the mist—

And fired again.

Whoosh, whoosh.
