For a second, Qiu Yunru really thought the game menu had just forced him to make a complete fool of himself and mention someone who didn't exist! He wouldn't expect any less from it at this point!
However, a moment later, he was strangely relieved to see Madame Red's face go even paler than the snowy shade it already was. Her red eyes flashed, and she stormed towards him, grabbing his chin with her manicured fingers.
Holy shit, Qiu Yunru noticed with discomfort. Those are some of the longest nails I've ever seen!
Indeed, they were about six inches long, tapered to sharp points, and glinting a shiny red!
Madame Red yanked his face up to look at her own. There was practically steam rising from her ears. She was no longer wearing a cold smile--instead, her anger was written all over her face, and her lips curled with fury as she looked upon him.
Qiu Yunru couldn't help but cower a little. What a petrifying woman!
"You," She hissed down at him, her voice like stone grating on stone. "How do you know of my Shao Lu?"
"I...ah..." Qiu Yunru stammered, blinking rapidly. Come on, game system, don't leave me hanging!
It was just his luck--the game system didn't send even one more hint. It was really going to leave him hanging here, with this demon about to murder him! Curse you, curse you, curse you, game menu!
Qiu Yunru smiled apologetically, sweat dripping down his neck. "I'm sorry...something must have come over me..."
Madame Red raised her claw as if to pluck his eye out. Qiu Yunru struggled violently.

Whoever had knocked pushed the door open gently without waiting for a response. Glancing over, Qiu Yunru saw that it was a frail-looking female demon.
Much like Madame Red, her figure and face were human-like. Her skin was pale and translucent as ice, her eyes were large and brown, and there were blue bags beneath them. She was dressed in the red, orange, and blue garb of a courtesan.
Looking upon the strange scene in front of her--two low-ranking demons, the house secretary, and Madame Red strangling a seemingly humanoid demon--her face paled even more. She coughed weakly into her sleeve, stepping back and lowering her head.
"I'm sorry...It seems to be a bad time. I will come back later, Lady Hong."
Madame Red perked up at the title, suddenly dropping Qiu Yunru and brushing her hands off quickly. "Xiao-Lu! No, no, it's not a bad time at all! Why don't you come in? I'll send this...vermin away to deal with later." She sent Qiu Yunru, Xin, and Jing a cold glare, causing all three of them to shiver.
Of course, this frail young demon who had opened the door must be this "Shao Lu" the game menu had told him to name. Otherwise, her name just happened to be "Lu", and Qiu Yunru was going to be in for a really awkward and embarrassing time! Praying that this was the correct person, he studied her quickly, looking for anything that might help him escape this situation.
