"Whoaaa! That word just made my heart so happy!" Elena squealed as the four of us stepped out of the council hut, following Nyra into the sunlight.
Nyra chuckled, her tail twitching in amusement. "It seems Lady Elena was looking forward to this even more eagerly than you were, Lady Cyrina."
"Haha! I definitely was!" Elena chirped, clutching the signed contracts as if they were made of gold.
Nyra led us to a smaller, cozy-looking hut nearby. "It's a bit cramped in here," she apologized as we stepped inside. Elena, Rhaegor, Kael, and I settled ourselves on the soft, woven rugs on the ground.
"By the way, Nyra," I said, looking around, "I didn't realize you were part of the ministry."
She laughed, a bright, melodic sound. "Haha! Since I was part of the trial on the festival night, I was told to just enjoy the festivities. That's why I didn't attend the initial meeting. But normally, I'm kept quite busy."
