"Why was he freezing the ocean, huh?" Thalassara murmurs, a rueful, highly amused smile evident in her mental voice.
I nod eagerly. "Yes! Like, there must have been some incredibly important reason behind it, right? For him to choose to go into such a massive fight against you?"
"Oh, don't you ask, handsome!" She lets out a melodic, bubbling laugh. "You don't know how much he pleaded with me to never, ever tell a soul. He really had one of the lamest, most ridiculous reasons, which you wouldn't even be able to imagine given his serious personality!"
"Ehh! But I want to know!" I whine, leaning forward. But just then, her massive body slows down and comes to a complete halt in the deep water. "What happened?" I ask, blinking behind my glasses.
"It is nighttime turned morning already," Thalassara says softly. "Do you want to eat something, dear?"
