Chapter 356 - GAM Ch 356: Silver City's Father God

"Amenadiel, I need to get some supplies from you."

Amenadiel looked bewildered. "Supplies."

"Yes, you should know I opened an exorcism shop and now the business has expanded. I want to get some angelic items to put in there, but do not worry, I am not planning to pay you."

Amenadiel almost spat out a mouthful of angelic essence.

Supplies without payment, and acting all high and mighty as if he owed him something.

What kind of cat was this.

Seeing Amenadiel's confused look, Garfield beckoned him to his side with a paw. "Come here, let me explain."

"No, let us discuss these things with our Father God."

Amenadiel dismissed the angels surrounding Garfield and gestured for him to follow.

"Alright, let us go."

Amenadiel led the way, Garfield flying behind him.

Amenadiel controlled the flight speed, allowing Garfield to observe the situation in Silver City.

"How does it compare to Asgard."

"Brother, although we are both users of light, Asgard's style is bold and expansive, while yours is refined and delicate. Different styles, incomparable. Why do the angels in the plazas have no faces."

Amenadiel explained to Garfield, knowing he would ask this.

Actually, not only Garfield, but any outsider visiting Silver City for the first time would be curious.

"It is because of the power of light. Lower level angels in Silver City maintain an optimal affinity to facilitate the absorption and use of light power. Only higher level angels can maintain their faces while preserving their features."

"Angels do not usually do that," Garfield asked. "Why."

Amenadiel replied, "Because they are lazy."

Very well.

Even tigers have their moments of laziness.

It is normal for angels to be lazy occasionally.

After flying for a short while, they reached the highest point of Silver City.

Beside a temple like building, many angelic patterns were carved on the outside.

Garfield could tell with his naked eye that these were magical puppets.

If any force were to invade Silver City, they would be the last line of defense.

As a backup plan, these guardians' combat power must be considerable.

If Silver City, smaller than Asgard, has such methods, Garfield does not believe Odin, with his three sons and daughters, must also have some unknown backup plans.

As for why they did not reveal them first, it was not because he was caught off guard by Loki's sneak attack, but because they had already quietly moved them away.

Entering the hall with Amenadiel, they found it completely empty except for some pillars.

There was not even a chair.

There were no windows or murals, making it feel like an empty tomb.

At the far end of the hall, an old man with silver gray hair, a white robe, and a halo around his head stood there, his gaze fixed on Garfield and Amenadiel, his eyes full of affection.

The old father's appearance was much more approachable than Odin's imposing fatherly demeanor.

Garfield secretly vowed that he already had a godfather, and this one was unacceptable.

A Flerken should have some principles.

Amenadiel stepped forward and bowed to the old man. "Father, the Third Prince of Asgard has arrived."

The old man nodded. "Yes, I know why he is here."

Amenadiel bowed slightly and was about to leave when the old man stopped him. "Amenadiel, you stay here and watch."

"Yes, Father."

Amenadiel obediently stood aside.

"Hello, Garfield, we finally meet."

Garfield was completely bewildered. "Am I famous."

"No, that is just a polite remark."

"Oh, I see. Well then, I have heard so much about you, sir. Can we talk about some serious matters."

"Of course, please have a seat, guest."

A set of chairs and teaware was summoned, and Garfield was gestured to sit down.

The two sat facing each other.

"Would you like some tea. I heard the Ancient One likes tea. You are her apprentice, so you should like it too."

Garfield thought about the tea leaves he had taken from the Ancient One and reluctantly produced some, handing them over. "My master's collection. You can try some if you are interested. Oh, by the way, you said you knew why I am here."

The other placed the tea leaves into the teapot, fiddling with it as they continued chatting.

"I know a little bit of divination. You want some angelic weapons and magical items from Silver City, correct."

Garfield nodded. "Business has expanded, and we need some things to enhance our image. I will also help spread your faith. Of course, I will not deliberately tell anyone. Whether they believe or not is up to them."

"Sure, but I cannot let this go to waste. How about I give you some compensation."

The other was indeed clever, knowing Garfield's hard work and offering some compensation.

However, Garfield felt these things might not be so easy to take.

They might be too hot to handle.

"Let us forget it. I cannot accept something for nothing. I would feel guilty if I took it."

"Hey, you cannot say that. You did contribute, and you worked hard. This is what you deserve."

"No, no, you flatter me."

Watching his Father God trying so hard to give Garfield some benefits, while Garfield refused no matter what, the two of them did not seem like Garfield was there to buy goods at all.

Instead, it made Amenadiel feel like the items from Silver City were common, rotten fruit and bananas.

Please, we are the renowned Silver City in the universe.

Even the standard angelic armor and magical artifacts are high level magical artifacts in the cosmos.

How did they become like this in their eyes.

After some bargaining, Garfield finally reluctantly accepted part of the gift.

Of course, it was not free.

In return, Garfield had to reduce the number of demonic contracts and other demonic artifacts that Mephisto had thrown at his shop, and he had to set up two angels as shop assistants in the shop.

These two angel shop assistants also needed to completely break free from Silver City's jurisdiction and sign a contract with Garfield.

Although Pandimensional Godzilla was not home, Garfield's soul space contained the contract left behind by that Godzilla.

All they had to do was sign it.

"Amenadiel, prepare everything for Garfield according to the list I gave you, and while you are at it, call Alina and Eleta."

Amenadiel paused for a moment, then nodded. "Yes, Father."

As Garfield walked out of the hall, he noticed Amenadiel giving him a second look.

Something was wrong with these two angels.

Otherwise Amenadiel would not have paused when the other called their names.

Perhaps sensing what Garfield was thinking, the old man smiled and said to Garfield, "Do not worry, they are rising stars of Silver City. They might even advance to the ranks of Seraphim in the future."

There have always been four Seraphim.

So does this mean at least one will perish in the future.
