Chapter 358 - GAM Ch 358: Garfield, Addicted to Angel Spring Water

Amenadiel, Alina, and Eleta watched their father and Garfield stare at each other for ten minutes, cold sweat beading on their foreheads.

What should they do if their father clashed with the other.

Should they help their father or try to dissuade him.

They knew that behind Garfield stood the infamous Sorcerer Supreme of the Pride and Asgard from the multiverse.

The Sorcerer Supreme of the Pride was not just the Ancient One.

Her fame across the multiverse included Agamotto, Oshtur, and Hoggoth, the three known as the Vishanti Trinity.

Speaking of the Vishanti, one must mention another powerful dark god, Chthon, an ancient god of Earth.

Another reason why Earth in the Marvel Universe has always been separate from several empires in the universe is quite simple.

Earth has many incredibly powerful ancient gods.

Some have traveled to other dimensions, while others are sealed away.

But they all consider Earth their sphere of influence.

If anyone dares to openly plant a flag on Earth, they will be annihilated in a matter of minutes.

Chthon is the god of dark magic, opposed to the white magic wielded by Vishanti.

Therefore, comparing him to Kamar Taj makes them mortal enemies.

Vishanti left behind Vishanti magic on Earth, while Chthon left behind the Book of Darkness.

Even more revealing is that Scarlet Witch's primary source of magic is Chthon.

Many wizards, demons, and other dark creatures on Earth frequently borrow his power.

The dark forces that caused trouble at Garfield's shop last time used Chthon's power.

Otherwise, his master, the Ancient One, would not have needed to personally exorcise them.

Chthon's power is comparable to Vishanti's.

Both are ancient gods on Earth and are even related.

Chthon's appearances in the comics are pitifully few, like Vishanti's, but their existence cannot be ignored, or one will be in trouble at crucial moments.

After staring blankly for a while, Garfield's eyes started to ache, and the Silver City boss opposite him finally gave up.

"Alright, let us do it this way. I am getting old, and there are some things I can only do for the children."

Garfield scratched his neck.

Actually, he was a little scared when he confronted the boss earlier, but he held on, did he not.

Most of these Godfather level big shots are now at the age of decline and eventual passing.

The ruthless and violent temper they had in their younger days has mostly dissipated.

As long as one is in the right and willing to put up a fight, one can actually get unexpected results.

Garfield decided to try to persuade him and see if he could create a special side quest, like in a game.

"At my age, I still have to worry about my thousands of years old brats. It is the same as my godfather's headaches with Thor and Loki. But as an outsider, I think we can try to solve this from another angle."

Garfield's words caught the other person's attention.

He thought for a moment and asked Garfield, "What solution."

"The reason brats are bratty is because they do not know the cruelty of reality. If you let them encounter a difficulty they cannot overcome, and let them experience enough hardship, they will naturally grow up."

"What if they still cannot grow up."

Garfield replied, "Then it proves they have not experienced enough hardship. As long as they do not die, they will wake up sooner or later. What we should do is ensure they do not die from these hardships, not prepare decisive solutions and answers for them."

After hearing Garfield's words, the other person began to ponder.

This thinking lasted for most of the day, and Garfield drank all the tea in the teapot in front of him.

The water in Silver City was of good quality, containing a lot of light energy, which was very beneficial to Garfield, a cosmic beast that lived by devouring energy.

Holding the teapot, Garfield said to Amenadiel, "Old friend, what kind of water is this. Do you have another pot."

Amenadiel instinctively took the pot and replied to Garfield, "Yes, this is spring water from the Light Spring of our Silver City. It contains immense light power. Even ordinary angels cannot drink that much. I did not expect Your Highness to finish it. I will go get another pot right away."

Amenadiel was about to leave when Garfield stopped him, saying, "Get some more. I can take it back and dilute it to use as holy water for exorcism."

If Garfield had said he wanted to drink it, Amenadiel might not have been willing to give it to him, but when it came to exorcism, Amenadiel ran off quickly.

He really was a simpleton.

However, having such an archangel as an older brother was a blessing for the angels of Silver City.

It was a pity that some of them did not appreciate their good fortune, like Asmodel, who was an adversary of the eagle angel Zauriel.

Alina and Eleta, the two obedient angel sisters, stood to the side, staring at him with unwavering smiles.

Taking advantage of Amenadiel's absence and their father's apparent deep thought, Garfield decided to chat with the sisters.

Trying to make his expression more approachable, Garfield softly asked Alina and Eleta, "Alina, Eleta, correct. Which one is the older sister and which one is the younger sister."

Alina and Eleta exchanged a glance, and one of them, with slightly wider wings, pointed to herself. "I am Alina, the older sister, and this is Eleta, the younger sister."

"Are you twins."

Alina and Eleta shook their heads. "No, we are quadruplets. Our eldest sister is on a mission."

Quadruplets.

Judging from their appearance, they were not artificially created.

Angels, being a race of light element, are not so easily conceived, especially quadruplets.

Shocked, Garfield continued, "Alina, Eleta, who are your sisters. What are the meanings of your names."

Alina, Eleta's older sister, answered Garfield's question.

"Our eldest sister is Louis, meaning Martial Saint."

"Our second sister is Snow, meaning Snow White."

"I, Alina, mean Pure."

"My younger sister Eleta's name is Wings."

The names were simple and easy to understand, but Garfield felt something was off.

The eldest sister's name suggested she was a combat type with considerable strength.

As for the second sister, Snow White, her name likely indicated a medical support role.

Alina and Eleta's names meant Pure and Wings, probably implying purification and protection, but Garfield sensed the sisters' strength was similar, suggesting they had not yet differentiated themselves or possessed balanced talents.

"The names are beautiful. Where are your two older sisters. Are they not here."

Eleta replied sadly, "Our sisters are fighting demons on the front lines. We are growing slowly."

Before Garfield could ask further, the contemplative boss beside them awoke.
