Chapter 370 - GAM Ch 370: I Am Just a Passing Orange Cat

The core issue with SEED is its worldview, specifically the conflict between Naturals and Coordinators.

The prevailing ideology still divides Naturals and Coordinators into two distinct races, creating a fanatical notion that Coordinators are aliens.

Another example is Blue Cosmos, whose members loudly proclaim their desire for a blue, clean world.

They are not exactly noble.

Their apparent struggle for power and living space for Naturals is essentially a disguised arms trade.

This is similar to the arms dealers in the United States, who exploit the fundamental conflict between Naturals and Coordinators.

The competitive advantage for survival in society.

As Garfield puts it, it is about Naturals' financial resources hindering their advancement and increasing their living pressures.

After the conflict erupted, most Coordinators were forced into space, though some more open countries still have a significant number residing on Earth.

On Earth, there is also the permanently neutral Orb Union.

Speaking of Orb, two figures come to mind.

The ignorant heiress Cagalli Yula Athha, and the incredibly shrewd Uzumi Nara Athha, who meticulously planned everything before his death.

Throughout the storyline, Garfield believes Uzumi Nara Athha has the highest IQ.

Continuing the rivalry between the Earth Alliance and PLANT, he not only seeks peace but also leverages the resources of both to create his own Gundam.

For example, the Murasame MVF M11C is a general purpose, mass produced, transformable mobile suit.

This machine is Orb's next generation main mobile suit.

Its most distinctive feature is its transformation mechanism that allows it to transform into a flight capable mobile armor state within the atmosphere.

Equipped with a shield that doubles as a nose and forward facing wings, it boasts impressive high speed.

Type seventy two modified beam rifle.

Dedicated shield.

This machine is much better than those rotten potatoes and eggs from the Earth Federation.

After unveiling this, the Earth Federation gave Orb a lot of resources and funds to forge their divine weapons.

Strike Gundam, Aegis Gundam, Blitz Gundam, Duel Gundam, and Buster Gundam.

Then, when the mobile suits were completed, ZAFT, having received intelligence, arrived and launched the main storyline of the anime.

As for who provided this intelligence, Garfield guessed it was the old fox Uzumi Nara Athha.

He knew who the Blue Cosmos behind the Earth Federation were, and if these large toys fell into the hands of the Earth Federation, the unprepared ZAFT would be doomed.

Orb's survival was built on the mutual restraint between the Earth Federation and PLANT.

A one sided outcome would inevitably result in Orb being destroyed by the victor.

This is not really my concern.

I am just a passing orange cat.

Taking a Gundam along would not be bad.

And some engineers too.

Maybe some genetic modification scientists.

A large colony like this would not be bad either.

Sigh.

After thinking it over, Garfield changed his mind and decided to just take a little bit of everything.

After all, the Coordinators' naturally high intelligence is quite beneficial for technological research and development, and it can also help correct the skewed technological tree of the Star Wars universe.

They are still using mechanical buttons and seventies and eighties computer monitors in interstellar warfare.

Holo teams do exist, so why are they not widespread.

It is a headache.

Do we really have to say Star Wars is a fantasy world.

That does not seem like a bad explanation.

The Force itself is quite magical.

Darth Vader alone wiped out an entire Rebel ground force on a planet.

As for other elements, the movies do not show much, but the animated series introduces quite a bit.

The Star Wars universe ranges from primitive tribal cultures to high tech interstellar adventures, and includes giant beasts roaming the cosmos.

Of course, there is also the concept of the Force God, a special space constructed by the Force that possesses the power to transcend time and space.

Ahsoka, who encountered the version of herself transformed into Darth Vader, was saved by Ezra Bridger before her death.

However, what really gave Garfield a headache was Palpatine, who could actually channel his Force lightning into the primal space of the Force to burn Ezra and Ahsoka.

It has to be said that Palpatine has gone far on his path, and his power has increased considerably, but he is definitely no match for Garfield.

That is how confident Garfield is.

He rolled over in the warm glow of the artificial sun, letting the sunlight reach his other side.

Beside Garfield, the scheming, pink haired Lacus Clyne was being lectured by some idealistic peace loving thinker invited by her father.

Garfield could not be bothered with them.

Their ideas were merely superficial, a false peace, and their methods of suppressing the conflict between Naturals and Coordinators were no different from the failures of the early stages of Yu the Great's flood control efforts.

As for why they succeeded, it was because war after war broke out, weakening both sides, and finally, Blue Cosmos was used as a shield, leading to the eventual peaceful outcome.

But they did not know that ambition can breed.

The descendants of those fallen arms dealers would go into a period of dormancy and then resurface at some point, leading to another war that would spread to all of humanity.

Garfield suggested establishing a centralized government and a comprehensive system to resolve everything through the rule of law, with government security agencies handling what the law could not.

Seeing Lacus so earnestly being misled, Garfield chose to control his ears, drooping them to block out the offensive gossip.

The observant Lacus Clyne had long felt that her orange cat was a bit too intelligent, as if it could understand human speech.

It ate a lot, and there was never any cat feces in the litter box.

At first, Lacus suspected Garfield had eaten it himself, but after a series of observations, she could not find any evidence.

Then, whenever she held it to receive her mentor's moral education, Garfield would disgustedly cover its ears.

But when her father came home and talked to her, Garfield would listen attentively for a while.

Also, the two metal rings on Garfield's paws were strange.

The writing and patterns on them were ancient, and she could not find them in her own records.

Looking at Garfield lying there in front of her, Lacus decided to go back and find some equipment to examine him.
