Chapter 113 - Chapter 112 Lynn ultimately followed the voice coming from deep within her brain and lowered her head to continue eating her dinner.

"Just agree, or I'll go get Hermione to convince you. She's the one you'll definitely listen to anyway."

Lynn looked at Maranhao with indifferent eyes. Maranhao's face was full of seriousness; if Lynn didn't agree, she really would get up right now to find Hermione and have her persuade her.

On the night of the annual Halloween, there was no reason to be thinking about studying.

It's fine to study hard in life, but life shouldn't be only about studying.

"Alright, I will eat slower. I will finish eating after they finish singing."

Lynn ultimately followed the voice coming from deep within her brain and lowered her head to continue eating her dinner.

Marietta pouted and couldn't help but reach out to pinch Lynn's cheek. "Valuing love over friendship..."

Lynn's eating didn't stop, but she automatically retrieved the explanation for 'valuing love over friendship' in her mind.

Then she instinctively made a judgment: she did not feel like or love for others, so she had nothing to do with the person described by this term.

After finishing lunch, Lynn put on her bag and headed straight for the Transfiguration Classroom.

To the Professors, Lynn was still the same in the new school year.

Excellent, obedient, and dull. Except for Professor Snape and Professor Lockhart, the other Professors, just like the previous school year, were not stingy about giving Lynn points.

This led Ravenclaw House to once again have an incredible 'huge lead.'

The Hufflepuff Little Badgers, who didn't compete and took things as they came, clapped and said Lynn was truly amazing.

The mischievous Gryffindor Little Lions, whose focus wasn't on scoring points, took advantage of the situation to start a betting pool on whether Ravenclaw could win the House Cup again.

Though so far no one had bet against it... only the Little Snakes, who refused to be outdone and valued honor, were still struggling hard.

Unfortunately, their scoring speed couldn't keep up with Lynn's at all, and they could only watch through gritted teeth as the point gap between them and Ravenclaw continued to widen.

Then they comforted themselves in their hearts that at least it wasn't Gryffindor.

After a Transfiguration class, Professor McGonagall gave Lynn another ten points because she was the first to complete the Transfiguration required for the lesson.

The Second Year Little Eagles clapped in celebration, and the Little Badgers in class with them joined in.

Then they were all urged by Professor McGonagall to continue with their transformations and stop making a fuss.

Lynn also used her usual flat tone to explain to the Young Wizards who asked her exactly how to succeed.

By the end of the Transfiguration class, the whole class had successfully completed the Transfiguration required by Professor McGonagall.

Looking at Lynn, who had practically helped her guide half the class in detail, Professor McGonagall's eyes were brimming with satisfaction.

Maybe she shouldn't wait and just let Lynn be her teaching assistant.

With her there, classroom efficiency really could be much higher, Professor McGonagall couldn't help but think to herself.

After the afternoon classes were over, it was time for the Halloween feast. The Little Eagles cheered and surrounded Lynn, ushering her out of the classroom and toward the Great Hall.

Entering the Great Hall, the Weird Sisters were indeed standing at the Staff Table; Headmaster Dumbledore really had invited them.

To ensure all the Little Eagles could see the performance clearly, Penelope directed everyone to sit according to their height.

Once the Little Eagles were all seated, the Weird Sisters' performance began right on time.

Accompanied by song after song, the Young Wizards of Hogwarts happily began to enjoy their Halloween feast.

Lynn listened to the singing by her ear while slowly eating the food at the banquet.

Having rarely heard music before, she didn't have a clear sense of whether the Weird Sisters' music was good or not.

She could only judge from the perspective of music theory books she had read that the Weird Sisters' songs followed musical principles, and everyone else was praising them.

So it should be good, Lynn thought as she lowered her head to take a bite of steak.

The Halloween banquet lasts shorter than the Christmas banquet, so after everyone finished listening to all the songs by the Weird Sisters, the Halloween banquet came to an end.

Following the crowd out of the Great Hall, Lynn was forced to stop with everyone outside the girls' washroom on the second floor.

Immediately after, discussions about the Heir and petrification came from the very front of the line.

Lynn slowly raised her head, her gaze passing through the gaps in the crowd to see Hermione standing blankly at the front with Harry and Ron.

With a roar in her mind, Lynn once again felt that sensation of her heart being gripped tightly.

Squeezing through the crowd to step forward, Lynn quickly arrived behind Hermione, "What's wrong?"

Hermione had been looking at the shouting crowd and the blood-red words on the wall with some loss, but she immediately snapped back to her senses upon hearing Lynn's voice.

"We finished attending Nick's Deathday Party, and when we came back, Harry said he heard that voice again. Then we followed him here, and it turned out like this."

Hermione told Lynn about the situation in a small voice.

Lynn nodded, her eyes beginning to roam around the scene: the water on the floor, and Madam Norris hanging on the wall, petrified.

And a line of blood-red words written on the wall next to her: "The Chamber of Secrets has been opened. Enemies of the heir, beware."
