Sakaki Tsuna's subordinate, Eva, came running in haste. She knelt on one knee and reported:
"Master Tsuna, a powerful Ninetales is wreaking havoc across the facility."
"The entire Gringey Base is in a state of panic, and people are fleeing in droves. Master Tsuna, this place is lost. We must move to a safe location immediately!"
Eva grabbed Tsuna's arm, preparing to use Teleport to whisk him away to safety. However, Tsuna pulled back, interrupting her psychic shift.
"Eva, I want to see exactly what is happening out there."
Tsuna brushed her hand aside and walked out, a deep sense of foreboding gnawing at his gut.
The Flare of the White Fox
"Ninetales, go wild! Coat this entire base in flames!"
As soon as Feng Che spoke, torrents of brilliant white fire erupted from Ninetales' nine tails. Within moments, the Pokémon was enveloped in a blaze so intense it transformed into a towering, spectral giant fox of pure white heat.
The white fox rampaged through Gringey Base, leaving a trail of roaring infernos in its wake.
"Muk, use Sludge Bomb! Stop that Ninetales!" the guards screamed.
They were still trying to fulfill their duty, attempting to protect Elite A-Bo's Treasure Garden. However, the Sludge Bombs vaporized into wisps of grey smoke the instant they approached Ninetales, unable to withstand the sheer temperature radiating from its body.
"It's too much! Run!"
The guards watched in horror as Ninetales unleashed a stream of white fire from its maw, turning the corridor into an inescapable furnace. A second later, they fled, howling in terror.
"Good. The nuisances are gone."
Feng Che turned to the high-tech vault doors of the Treasure Garden. This gate required A-Bo's fingerprints, retinal scan, and a blood sample to unlock. While the super-alloy door was designed to withstand standard heat, Feng Che's Ninetales possessed the Soul Fire.
"Ninetales, melt this door with molten heat."
Ninetales' tails stood erect. It spat a stream of white-hot magma directly at the lock mechanism. The super-alloy groaned and liquified, creating a gap just wide enough for a person to pass through.
Feng Che stepped inside. The Treasure Garden was filled with countless Poison-type treasures, rare Pokémon, and exotic eggs displayed behind thick, bulletproof glass. One particular Pokémon floating in the air immediately caught his eye.
"A Poipole? I can't believe A-Bo actually has one of these."
The creature had a massive head topped with three needle-like points, with the central one being slightly larger. It had short arms, a long tail, and oval-shaped eyes. Its head was filled with potent venom, ready to be fired from its needles.
Name: Poipole
Gender: Female
Aptitude: Epic (Cyan)
Ability: Beast Boost
Level: 35
Type: Poison
Moves: Leech Life, Dragon Pulse, Peck, Growl, Poison Sting, Venoshock, Fell Stinger, Venom Drench, Nasty Plot, Poison Jab, Toxic, Toxic Fang, Shadow Ball.
Status: Lively.
Evaluation: An Ultra Beast that accidentally slipped out of an Ultra Wormhole in the Alola region. Since most people have never seen a Poipole, it is treated as a "rare Poison-type" for display.
Seeing Feng Che enter, Poipole did a playful handstand on its head.
Poipole: I smell something nice on you. Are you here to play with me? Poipole sent a telepathic message directly to Feng Che's mind.
Poipole: That mean uncle who runs this garden treats us like objects in a shop. His eyes are always full of bad thoughts. I can feel your pure heart... Can you take me away? I've had enough of this place.
"I can. I came here specifically to rescue all of you. Can you tell your friends to enter their Poké Balls? It'll be easier for me to carry you out."
Poipole: No problem! Leave it to me!
Poipole puffed out its chest and let out a high-pitched screech. One by one, the Pokémon in the glass cases transformed into beams of red light, returning to their respective Poké Balls.
"Mewtwo, use Field Exchange (Role Play) to swap the Poké Balls and eggs out from behind the glass."
While Mewtwo retrieved the Pokémon, Feng Che began packing the rare Poison-type resources into his storage ring.
The King's Wrath
"What is going on?! Why is it so noisy out there? Don't they know I'm conducting research?!"
Elite A-Bo kicked open his laboratory door, cursing. But as he looked up, he realized the entire Gringey Base was a sea of flames.
"Investigator A-Bo... you're finally here..." a bloody figure reached out, clutching A-Bo's ankle.
"You're the vault guard! What happened here?!" A-Bo asked, stunned.
"Old Hali... he was an impostor. He disabled the Super-Brain's alarms and released a monstrous Ninetales. He turned the base into an oven. He's too strong... we couldn't stop him."
The guard's voice trailed off as he fainted from exhaustion.
"Investigator, what is the meaning of this?" Sakaki Tsuna asked, covering his nose as thick black smoke began to fill the corridor.
"Someone infiltrated us. No one in Gringey City dares touch my domain—this must be that Feng Che you mentioned," A-Bo hissed. "He bypassed my entire security network. He's in the Treasure Garden right now. The brat is clever; none of my defenses saw through his disguise."
A-Bo's eyes burned with fury. "But he's delivered himself to me. It saves me the trouble of hunting him down. Go, Roserade! Frenzy Plant!"
Roserade slammed its flower-covered hands into the floor. Massive, hardened vines tore through the alloy floor, surging toward the Ninetales.
Ninetales met the attack with a burst of white soul-fire. The "indestructible" vines were reduced to charred husks in an instant.
"Impossible!" A-Bo gasped. "My Roserade's Frenzy Plant is tempered against both fire and water! What kind of hell-fire is this?!"
"Curse you! Muk Legion, attack!"
A-Bo pulled a small whistle from his cloak and blew a sharp note. Dozens of Muk smashed through the burning walls, flooding into the base like a tidal wave of sludge.
Meanwhile, Feng Che had already slipped into A-Bo's private laboratory. He found dozens of Pokémon subjected to illegal genetic modifications. He quickly began copying A-Bo's research data from the lab's local servers.
Feng Che has the data and the Ultra Beast. Should he use Mewtwo's power to collapse the base entirely, burying A-Bo and Tsuna, or should he summon his new Ancient Beedrill to test their "Queen Bee" piercing power against the Muk Legion?
