Chapter 458 - The Ultimate Weapon

"The Temple has gathered far more forces than we anticipated. That old fox, the Pope, is truly hell-bent on erasing Celestic Town from history," Dr. Carolina muttered, her face pale with gravity. "Now, we have no choice but to fight to the last breath. Our only hope is that Cynthia secures the Championship in time."

Just then, Yuan Xiong approached her with a look of resolve. "Aunt Carolina, before Master Feng Che left, he entrusted me with the command of a specialized Pokémon legion. They are already lying in wait in the valley along Route 210."

"If our lines falter, you can deploy them at your discretion," Yuan Xiong added, seeing the lines of worry etched deep into the Lorekeeper's face.

"Thank you, Yuan Xiong. We are indeed stretched thin against such an armada. Your aid is timely," Carolina replied with a grateful nod.

"Also... Master Feng Che gave me this Poké Ball. He instructed me to release its occupant the moment I saw Regidrago."

Yuan Xiong pressed the button, and a magnificent Regidrago erupted from the ball, roaring as it manifested. In that instant, the "Mind Core" Regidrago floating above Carolina dove toward the newcomer. The two entities merged in a flash of blinding light, expanding into a much larger, more terrifying form.

The dragon-jaw armor grew gargantuan, and the creature's body pulsed with a dense, golden Dragon Aura. Its black, polished armor shimmered under the sun, radiating a pressure that sat somewhere between a Mythical and a true God-tier Pokémon.

"The lost Power Core... Feng Che actually found it?" Carolina whispered, her heart swelling with renewed hope. "The Titan of Dragon is finally whole."

The Titan of Titans

Aboard the Temple flagship, the Pope was in a towering rage. He glared at the viewscreen where the Sun, Moon, and Star Priests were kneeling in shame.

"What do you mean you found no trace of Jirachi in Hoenn?! You incompetent fools!" his roar echoed through the entire deck. The three priests lowered their heads even further, trembling under his venomous gaze.

"I will have that Wishing Star! Dig up the entire planet if you have to, but do not return to me empty-handed!"

He cut the transmission, his chest heaving. "And Brandon? Where has that archeologist vanished to?"

"Lord Pope," Captain Yuji reported tentatively. "Brandon remains missing. Furthermore, Bertha and Flint have not arrived at their designated ambush points. We are approaching the outskirts of Celestic Town. Your orders?"

"Release the Ultimate Weapon," the Pope commanded, a dark, twisted grin spreading across his face. "It is time for it to see the light of day once more."

The Pope pressed a crimson button on his console. A massive hatch opened in the ship's keel, and a gargantuan weight was dropped from the sky.

THUD.

The earth buckled. A web of deep fissures spider-webbed across the terrain, and a massive shockwave of dust and air flattened the surrounding trees. Defenders at the town's perimeter were knocked off their feet by the sheer kinetic force of the landing.

As the dust settled, the King of Giants, Regigigas, stood before the gates of Celestic Town.

Regigigas was a colossus of white stone and moss. Seven circular "eyes" arranged like the Big Dipper flickered on its face—red, blue, and gray. Legend stated that its strength was so vast it once towed the continents into place with ropes.

"The King of the Pillars... Regigigas," Dr. Carolina gasped, her breath hitching. This was a true Legendary God. Its presence changed the entire landscape of the war.

"Hahaha! Did you think the Temple was defenseless?" the Pope screamed from the skies. "Regigigas has been under our control for centuries! King of Giants, unleash your power! Erase Celestic Town from the face of the earth!"

"Full assault!" the Pope ordered. "Notify the Bertha, Volkner, and Pastoria clans to launch the final pincer movement!"

The hangars opened, and a black cloud of Staraptor and Bronzong swarmed toward the town.

The Clash of Gods

"Regidrago! Only you can stand against the King!" Carolina cried out to the newly restored Titan. "Wake your creator! Bring it to its senses!"

The completed Regidrago roared, a golden Dragon Aura erupting from its maw with such force that the charging Staraptor were blown back, falling from the sky in heaps.

The battle for Sinnoh's soul descended into an unprecedented melee. Regigigas unleashed a Hyper Beam that cut a swathe through the hills, only for the blast to be intercepted by Regidrago's concentrated Dragon energy.

Temple soldiers fired high-voltage harpoons from the backs of their mounts, while the Celestic Clan responded with a coordinated Draco Meteor, raining burning star-shards onto the Temple ships.

Amidst the chaos, three streaks of golden light—Feng Che's Zeraora trio—blurred across the battlefield, pulling wounded defenders out of the line of fire. Yuan Jia and Shaymin worked like a whirlwind in the Life Garden, their healing powers glowing like a beacon in the smoke.

Meanwhile, Yuan Xiong led the Garden elites to Route 210, bracing for the impact of the three traitorous clans.
