Feng Che and Cyrus reached the heart of the Spear Pillar. Cyrus's eyes burned with fanatical heat as he gazed at the statues.
"Finally... Dialga, Palkia!"
A Lustrous Orb hovered above Palkia's statue, emitting a light as bright as day. But Feng Che felt a sudden chill. A wave of revulsion emanated from Dialga's effigy—an aura similar to the Sky God's miasma.
"Ryusei, the case. Now!"
Feng Che placed the briefcase on the floor. Around them, he noticed hundreds of Skull Fossils and Armor Fossils littered across the ancient dais.
Strange... why are there so many fossils here?
Snap! Cyrus opened the case. The Adamant Orb floated into the air, glowing with an intense silver-gray light. It was drawn to Dialga's statue like a magnet. As it began to orbit the stone head, massive clouds of black smoke erupted from the statue.
Suddenly, Palkia's statue emitted a sharp, crystalline sound and shattered into a million pieces. The dust settled to reveal the Lustrous Orb falling to the ground, its light fading as it rolled into the shadows.
The petrification on the other statue dissolved. Standing before them was not a normal Dialga, but Primal Dialga (Dark Dialga). Its usual diamond-blue skin had turned a deep, bruised navy, and the patterns on its body glowed a menacing orange. The diamond on its chest was no longer blue, but a blood-red "Dark Diamond"—the symbol of a god lost to savage madness.
As the Dark Diamond pulsed with red light, the fossils on the floor began to glow. They transformed into Rampardos and Bastiodon. These ancient Pokémon, their eyes glowing scarlet, let out a thunderous roar that shook the ruins.
"Honchkrow, Hurricane!" Cyrus shouted as the Rampardos charged. The wind threw the fossils-turned-predators into a dizzying spin. Meanwhile, the Bastiodon formed a defensive phalanx in front of the Dark God.
"Only Dialga? And its color is wrong," Cyrus muttered, disappointed. He wanted both to create his perfect world. "No matter. I will bind you first, then find Palkia."
He pulled out the Red Chain. The ruby-like links rattled with a heavy, ominous sound. Cyrus chanted the forbidden incantation, and the Red Chain vanished into the void, only to reappear wrapped tightly around Primal Dialga's throat and limbs.
The weight of the chain was titanic. The Dark God was forced to its knees. Cyrus gripped the end of the chain. "Answer my heart, Dialga! Become the tool for my new world!"
Suddenly, black tendrils of energy surged from the chain, traveling up into Cyrus's arms and into his body. His eyes glazed over as he was lifted off the ground, floating until he landed atop the Dark God's crown. His hands were fused to the chain.
"He's been possessed," Feng Che whispered. Cyrus was no longer the master; he was the puppet of a mad god.
At that moment, Cynthia and Mishiko burst onto the dais. A Garchomp manifested behind Feng Che, its claws raised to strike. Sensing the danger, Feng Che Teleported instantly.
CRASH! Garchomp's claw shattered the stone where he had stood.
"Wait! It's me!" Feng Che rippled, shedding his disguise. Ditto slid back onto his shoulder.
"Feng Che! I thought you were with Galactic," Cynthia said, breathless. "What is that... thing?"
"That is Primal Dialga. When the flow of time in the future stops, Dialga falls into a state of savage instability. It's no longer a guardian; it's a force of pure destruction. Cyrus tried to bind it, but the Dark God used the Red Chain to turn him into a terminal."
Feng Che's expression was deadly serious. "If we don't reseal it or drive it out of this dimension, the timeline of the entire world will begin to unravel. History will rewrite itself at random."
As if to prove his point, a wave of black temporal arcs erupted from the Dark God. A Rampardos struck by the arc suddenly grew to ten times its size, while another reverted back into a fossil.
"We have two choices," Feng Che said. "We either awaken the true Lords of Time and Space to judge this intruder, or we force it back into the rift."
Carolina (Mishiko) stepped forward, her Dragon Power flaring. The Lustrous Orb on the floor suddenly zoomed into her hand.
At that moment, Primal Dialga unleashed a Roar of Time. A black pillar of energy tore through the ruins, erasing everything in its path.
