Chapter 484 - Capturing Primal Dialga

"If you refuse my proposal," Giratina stated coldly, "I shall simply return to my world. You can continue this endless struggle while the timeline of the mortal world rots. I can always build a new Distortion World from the scraps."

"I agree," Palkia conceded. "Even if we win, it will just wake up again later. I don't want an eternal war."

Dialga nodded. "Fine. But how do we house a God in a 'Pocket World'?"

Giratina looked toward the shadows where Feng Che stood. "This human possesses a complete world within his companion."

With a plop, Shaymin fell out of its Life Garden, landing on its bottom and staring at the three legendary gods in wide-eyed terror. Giratina then fixed its gaze on Feng Che.

"Human, I require the Master Ball from your storage."

Feng Che produced the purple sphere.

"This ball represents the pinnacle of human technology," Giratina explained to the other two. "It contains traces of my scales, Palkia's pearls, and Dialga's metal. It can hold a god. We shall put the Dark God inside, then place the ball in the center of the Shaymin's world."

"In time, the Dark God's essence will synchronize with the Life Garden. The world will grow, and the God will heal."

Giratina released the shadow-bind. Before Primal Dialga could move, the Master Ball struck its chest. The God was converted into red light and drawn inside. The ball shook violently on the ground before finally clicking shut.

"Place it in the center of the garden," Giratina commanded. He then took the Lustrous, Adamant, and Griseous Orbs and arranged them in a triangle around the Master Ball. Shaymin opened its portal, and the sphere was enshrined in the heart of its world.

"Now, the Dark God sleeps. When it wakes, it will be whole."

Giratina turned back to Feng Che. Dialga and Palkia were preparing to leave, but Giratina stopped them. "This human provided the vessel. He deserves compensation."

Giratina plucked a blood-stained scale from its neck. "I see a Dreepy in your shadow. Take my Shadow Scale. It contains the origin of Ghost and Dragon. It will fuel its growth."

Dialga left behind a shard of Temporal Gold, a metal found only in the river of time. Palkia provided a Spatial Stone the size of a boulder—the raw material for high-level storage artifacts.

The New Order

Outside, Cynthia and Mishiko were battling the stampede of frightened Pokémon. "Garchomp, Kommo-o! Use Draco Meteor to create a barrier!" Cynthia commanded.

Feng Che stepped out of the ruins, watching the chaos. He didn't join the fight; he knew that with the divine pressure gone, the Pokémon would soon calm down. He used Mewtwo to teleport away.

Galactic Building, 33rd Floor.

Charon sat in Cyrus's chair, his fat hands stroking the armrests. The lab was empty except for him and a captive Saiki. She was surrounded by laser-grids.

"Charon, you traitor! If Cyrus comes back, you're dead!" Saiki hissed.

"Cyrus isn't coming back," Charon sneered. "I made that Red Chain. I knew exactly what it would do. It magnifies human desire until it burns the soul. Cyrus was a puppet the moment he touched it. And when it broke? His soul broke with it."

Charon's eyes gleamed with a predatory light. "The age of Cyrus is over. The age of Charon has begun."
