The colossal form of the Gigantamax Toxtricity thrummed with staggering power, its massive frame storing enough ambient electricity to rival a roaring thundercloud, alongside over 1,000,000 liters of glowing, highly concentrated venom.
With every movement it made, corrosive fluid slinked off its spikes and rained down upon the cracked earth.
"This is the peak of the Amped Gigantamax form," Feng Che muttered, keeping his eyes locked on the titan. "But can Ditto handle a powerhouse of this scale?"
Looking up, he saw Ditto—still maintaining its perfect disguise as the Alpha Naganadel—give him a reassuring nod. The copy was not only holding its ground; it was actively vacuuming up the swirling purple-black miasma exhaled by the giant lizard.
With every breath of toxic mist it inhaled, Ditto's crystalline texture grew more defined, its aura shifting subtly closer to the ancient, alien signature of Eternatus. High above, the remaining wild Naganadel swarm followed their new Alpha's lead, instinctually absorbing the residual energy overflowing from the stolen dragon scale. Their segmented carapaces gleamed with a fresh, jewel-like violet luster.
"Toxtricity, Venoshock!" Hanzo Shura bellowed.
The giant unhinged its massive jaw, extending a colossal, glowing tongue, and spat a torrent of concentrated acid into the upper atmosphere. The fluids coalesced into a dense, purple-black storm cloud before raining down across the battlefield like a volley of melting arrows.
The moment the droplets hit the stones, the ground hissed violently, erupting into thick plumes of white, blinding steam. The acid possessed a terrifyingly high corrosive index.
Yet, to Hanzo's absolute horror, the Naganadel army reacted with pure ecstasy. They flipped their bodies, pointing their needle-like tails toward the sky to siphon the toxic downpour as if it were a rare, life-giving nectar. Their lower abdomens swelled with power, and Ditto-Naganadel matched them sip for sip.
In this custom form, Ditto might very well be the most versatile Mythical weapon I have, short of Genesect, Feng Che thought. I'll definitely need to find a window to visit the Galar region later so it can feast on Eternatus's primary energy core.
In Galar, Chairman Rose had essentially turned the extraterrestrial dragon into a massive biological battery, siphoning its raw output through specialized conduits to supply "Galar Particles" and power the entire region's grid. While it drove a massive booming economy fueled by the Dynamax stadium phenomenon, the subtle leakage of that infinite energy was slowly contaminating the subterranean ley lines, threatening to leave the region barren in the centuries to come. But here, in this closed pocket, it was nothing but premium fuel.
"Toxtricity, Discharge!" Hanzo Shura roared, desperate to reclaim the momentum.
The Gigantamax Toxtricity braced its giant legs and manifested a colossal, crackling electric guitar composed of pure plasma. Golden bolts of lightning arced across the instrument before it pointed the neck directly at Ditto. A massive, roaring thunder-dragon surged forward, its frame weaving both golden currents and a strange, destabilizing cyan electricity.
The thunder-dragon clamped its jaws around Ditto, dragging it out of the air. Hanzo watched with savage glee as the target's silhouette shrank under the blinding continuous shock, eventually charred black as it tumbled out of the light.
"See that?! That is the price of following an arrogant child!" Hanzo laughed manically.
But his laughter caught in his throat.
The charred husk rippled. Within milliseconds, Ditto's cellular structure reconstructed itself with terrifying fluid precision. It shook off the soot, emerging as a majestic, towering Naganadel, its body broader and its stinger twice as thick as before, dripping with glowing, re-energized violet fluid.
Hanzo miscalculated, Feng Che thought with a cold smirk. Ditto carries the blessing of Ho-Oh and Lugia's sacred feathers within its core matrix. Utilizing that primal Mythical energy, it can easily convert extreme electrical friction into stored stamina. That Gigantamax attack was basically a free battery recharge.
Roar!
The Alpha Naganadel let out a piercing draconic shriek. At its signal, the swarm in the clouds dove like a flock of ravenous raptors, converging directly on the Gigantamax Toxtricity. Their eyes burned with raw, primal hunger. They bared their fangs, sinking them into the giant's dense energy projection, actively tearing away and consuming the raw Galar-particle matrix.
The massive lizard thrashed for a brief moment before its voltage flickered and died out. The only sound left in the crater was the chilling, metallic crunching of the swarm picking the energy giant apart until it collapsed back into a standard, fainted Toxtricity.
"How... how can this be...?" Hanzo Shura fell to his knees, his hands trembling against the ash. With his entire elite roster decimated, he knew the World League's execution block was the only thing waiting for him.
He gritted his teeth, preparing to bite down on the lethal poison capsule hidden inside a hollowed-out molar. Before his jaw could snap shut, his entire body went rigid. Gengar had expanded from his shadow, anchoring his nervous system completely.
"No, no, no," Feng Che's voice drifted through the clearing. "Poison General Hanzo Shura... you are far too valuable a bounty card for me to let you check out early. If you die here, I'm basically doing charity work for Master Sky."
While the swarm finished their meal, Feng Che stepped closer, using Mewtwo's synchronized psychic connection to seamlessly delve into Hanzo's mind. He carefully sifted through the ninja's memories, cleanly snipping away and deleting every trace of intelligence regarding his and Koga's deep-cover connections to Team Rocket.
"Now, let's claim the spoils," Feng Che smiled, using his psychic power to coat Hanzo into a secure stone-petrification shell like the others.
He searched Hanzo's spatial ring, extracting the master Poké Balls that originally bound the wild Poipole. With a slight flex of his telekinesis, he crushed the casings into dust, severing the forced ownership ties.
"Go, Park Ball!"
Feng Che tossed his own ball toward the newly crowned Alpha of the swarm, pulling up its updated registration data:
Pokémon: Naganadel
Gender: Male
Potential: Legendary (Blue)
Ability: Beast Boost
Level: 75
Type: Poison + Dragon
Moves: Leech Life, Screech, Dragon Pulse, Venoshock, Poison Fang, Acid, Snarl, Supersonic, Bite, Confuse Ray, Wing Attack, Haze, Air Cutter, Steel Wing, Shadow Ball
Status: Newly Evolved (Stabilizing)
Evaluation: A mutated variant that successfully hijacked the core extraction of the Eternatus Scale. Its genetic makeup has altered under the alien dragon's influence. Continued exposure to ancient dragon energy will trigger further developmental anomalies.
Satisfied, Feng Che clicked the ball shut and clipped it to his belt.
Whoosh!
The wind kicked up as Norman's Swellow spiraled down from the upper canopy, its sleek indigo-blue feathers and crimson crest catching the early dawn light.
"Feng Che! Are you alright?" Norman called out, leaping from the bird's back. "Where is Hanzo Shura?"
"He's taken care of," Feng Che replied, pointing to the stone figure behind him. "Bounty secured. What's the status on the rest of the island?"
