Chapter 666 - Who on Earth Are You, to Be Able to Obtain Rayquaza's Legacy?

Excluding Legendary Pokémon, Mythical Pokémon, and Ditto, Corviknight's combat parameters easily ranked within the top three of Feng Che's current roster.

Its independent steel blades slammed ruthlessly against Blastoise's massive carapace, releasing a dense explosion of blinding sparks. The glittering shards cascaded through the air, creating a dreamlike yet lethal display.

Blastoise instantly felt its rotational center of mass destabilize. Its massive body began to teeter and sway, and its high-velocity Rapid Spin dramatically slowed down. Yet, the relentless steel blades continued to hammer its hide without a single millisecond of pause.

Fascinating. Even after detaching from Corviknight's body, those steel blades can still continuously channel individual gravitational fields, Feng Che analyzed. By micro-managing uneven pockets of gravity around the target, Corviknight has completely disrupted Blastoise's Rapid Spin trajectory, throwing its center of mass into absolute chaos.

"You are indeed exceptionally formidable, Feng Che."

With a deafening crash, the steel blades battered Blastoise straight out of the sky, slamming it ruthlessly into the earth. The impact carved a massive crater into the battlefield. Blastoise struggled to crawl out from the jagged depression, its supposedly indestructible shell now marred by a web of hairline structural fractures.

"Blastoise, absorb the divine power of the god!" Alder bellowed.

A thick stream of pitch-black miasma bled out from Alder's pendant once more, sinking directly into his shadow. A fraction of a second later, the colossal, ghostly manifestation of Kyogre rose from the darkness.

"It's you!"

The Ocean Fiend's voice echoed, dripping with pure, unyielding hatred. It would never forget this wretched mortal for as long as it existed. It was Feng Che who had directed his Greninja to forcefully drain and absorb the hyper-concentrated Water Jewel it had spent centuries refining, severely delaying its true unsealing.

"I have searched for you across the lands, and I have finally found you!" the Ocean Fiend hissed in sheer fury. "Alder, say no more. I shall grant you the absolute maximum of my divine parameters to force your Blastoise into its Gigantamax form!"

The spectral entity dissolved into an countless multitude of black miasma tendrils. Having expended its residual energy to trigger the transformation, the Ocean Fiend was violently repelled and dragged back to the depths of the Hoenn region.

The surging torrent of corrupt energy flooded continuously into Blastoise's vessel. Its physical mass expanded at a visible pace, over thirty massive metallic water cannons violently erupting across its shifting carapace. Within moments, a towering, fifteen-meter-tall Gigantamax Blastoise dominated the arena.

"Gigantamax Blastoise, use Hydro Pump!"

Colossal columns of high-pressure water erupted from the array of heavy cannons lining its back. The water torrents were so immensely dense and packed with raw kinetic force that even Corviknight's localized Gravity field failed to skew their advancing trajectories.

"Corviknight, activate Primal Reversion state," Feng Che commanded smoothly.

A localized tempest of emerald Delta Stream energy instantly exploded from Corviknight's chassis.

"The legacy of Rayquaza?! Who on earth are you, to be able to obtain Rayquaza's legacy?!" the Ocean Fiend's fading consciousness shrieked in absolute trepidation before it vanished completely.

Rayquaza was not merely the eternal apex predator to Groudon and Kyogre; it stood as the absolute, peerless nemesis to the Earth and Ocean Fiends across their entire lifetimes. On various occasions throughout history, Rayquaza would mistake the two ancient fiends for its original rivals and descend from the ozone layer to deliver a catastrophic, bone-crushing beatdown.

Beating its massive wings, Corviknight leveraged the protective currents of the Delta Stream, transforming into a high-speed streak of emerald light to seamlessly weave through the intersecting Hydro Pumps.

Boom! Rumble!

The high-pressure water columns detonated in the upper atmosphere, vaporizing into a heavy, continuous downpour that cascaded onto the battlefield. The ambient humidity parameters began to climb sharply.

I see. He intends to forcefully saturate the localized air moisture to systematically map out and track Corviknight's coordinates through displacement ripples, Feng Che thought, stroking his chin as he calmly parsed the tactical layout. Once the field is saturated, he'll use a slow-boil strategy to flash-freeze the rain into a sub-zero ice mist, explicitly crippling Corviknight's velocity parameters.

However, my Corviknight is entirely wreathed in a layer of genuine Delta Stream energy. It won't be broken that easily.

The absolute terror of Rayquaza lay precisely within the unique spatial properties of its Delta Stream. This specialized weather front was capable of mitigating the vast majority of incoming physical impacts, while completely isolating the user's vessel from temperature fluctuations, torrential downpours, and severe permafrost.

To even stand a chance at subduing Corviknight, one had to first possess the sheer offensive output required to violently puncture the Delta Stream barrier. But the deep secrets of the Delta Stream were known to only a rare handful of elite individuals, such as Mr. Stone, Steven Stone, and Clair. The rest of the world remained completely ignorant of its absolute defensive mechanics.

The Ocean Fiend likely understood the properties of the Delta Stream, but after overextending its parameters to force Gigantamax Blastoise's descent, it had already been forcefully snapped back to Hoenn, unable to offer further tactical guidance.

"Gigantamax Blastoise, use Ice Shard Cannon!"

Gigantamax Blastoise calibrated the elevation of its heavy cannons, expelling an endless barrage of icy tracking missiles from its barrels. The ice projectiles fanned out across a wide perimeter before tracing complex vectors to converge directly on Corviknight's coordinates.

"Corviknight, break their tracking vectors," Feng Che directed.

Corviknight beat its metallic wings, turning into a blur of emerald light. It maneuvered across the sky at a manic velocity, completely outstripping the tracking parameters of the oncoming ice missiles. Concurrently, its sixteen independent steel blades danced nimbly across the sky, systematically intercepting the projectiles.

The blades manipulated sharp gusts of wind to detonate the ice missiles prematurely. With every precise strike, hundreds of projectiles shattered into harmless frost dust, raining down into the cratered basin below.

"Curse it! How can this Corviknight be this impossibly evasive?!" Alder snarled, his face contorting into an ugly, dark grimace as his features twisted with pure frustration.

"Gigantamax Blastoise, maintain full-field Ice Shard Cannons! The moment we drop the environmental temperature to absolute zero, its velocity parameters will buckle!"

Alder remained entirely oblivious to the fact that his calculations were completely useless against Corviknight. The Delta Stream front anchoring its chassis permitted the Raven Pokémon to maintain maximum aerodynamic efficiency even within sub-zero airspace.

"Elite Four Feng Che, does your entire training curriculum consist of teaching your Pokémon to continuously tuck tail and flee across the sky?!" Alder barked, his face dark with malice.

"This is called battlefield tactics," Feng Che replied coldly. He found Alder to be exceptionally petty, narrow-minded, and a thoroughly sore loser.

"Once I step down from active service, you are slated to be the primary candidate to inherit my throne," Alder sneered, his eyes darting quickly as he delivered a sinister threat. "If the prospective Champion proves to be an individual who only knows how to execute evasive maneuvers, I will make it my absolute duty to submit a formal administrative objection to the Global Pokémon League headquarters."

"Executing precise evasive maneuvers is still vastly superior to being beaten like a dog by Team Plasma, fleeing the field without daring to utter a single word of complaint," Feng Che countered smoothly.

The sharp retort struck Alder like a physical blow, sending a violent shockwave of panic through his chest.

How on earth does he know about the Team Plasma engagement?! Could this brat be bluffing to break my composure?! Alder's expression fluctuated wildly between fury and acute paranoia.

He had been utterly crushed by N, the King of Team Plasma, his core partners severely traumatized and broken as he fled the sector like a dying stray. The number of high-ranking individuals privy to that catastrophic operational failure was exceptionally small.

"Haha! If the reigning Champion of the Unova region is this incredibly cowardly, how can you possibly fault me for utilizing an evasive strategy?" Feng Che added, his tone sharpening. "You are an absolute disgrace to the title, Alder."

He was losing his patience. Alder's non-stop, desperate barking was becoming thoroughly grating.

"But you know what? I've changed my mind. Corviknight, use Air Cutter! Bring that Gigantamax Blastoise down!"

Following Feng Che's definitive command, Corviknight beat its steel wings, whipping up a tremendous, howling tempest. The cyclic winds condensed into thousands of gargantuan crescent-shaped blades, weaving together to form a colossal, whirring tornado. The razor-sharp wind column roared forward, slamming squarely into Gigantamax Blastoise with the force of a million knives.

Subjected to the relentless, frenzied tempest, the massive turtle was trapped within a localized meat grinder. The heavy carapace it took immense pride in was rapidly scored by hundreds of deep white gashes, the sheer kinetic trauma sending waves of agonizing pain straight into Blastoise's neural network.
